2022: Prospects Worth Attention from Colleges, Part II

<p>The recruiting period has started to heat up for colleges on all levels and as it does, here’s a look at Part II of some 2022 prospects worth some attention from college coaches.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1008878" first="Micah" last="Handlogten"] - Handlogten has seen his stock grow a bit in recent weeks with an offer from Jacksonville University coming his way. He’s a 7-foot prospect with a nice feel for the game in the low post as a scorer and shotblocker with a nice touch on the perimeter as well. He’s due for a boost in his recruitment with Upward Stars SE 3SSB.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1143111" first="Leon" last="Nahar"] - Nahar is another sizeable big man in the 2022 class at 6-foot-9 that’s starting to generate interest and should have more very soon. He’s got a nice feel for the game in the pick-and-roll while still maintaining his ability to create on the perimeter as a stretch-forward prospect. He recently earned an offer from Stony Brook.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="787676" first="Daniel" last="Sanford"] - Sanford is due to make a name for himself as the frontcourt leader in the JL Chambers rotation with [player_tooltip player_id="947288" first="Jaylen" last="Curry"] leading the way in the backcourt. He’s a 6-foot-6 forward that plays a physical brand of basketball on both ends of the floor with an ability to defend multiple spots on the floor. Radford, Murray State and East Carolina have offered him in recent days. Look for more attention to come his way soon.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="574457" first="Nathan" last="Brafford"] - Brafford is a name in the 2022 class that’s due for more attention soon. He is a 6-foot-9 forward prospect that can operate getting downhill and as a stretch-forward on the floor. As he puts on more muscle and shows his strength, look for his name to grow on the recruiting trail. Florida Gulf Coast, Lehigh, Western Carolina, Stetson and North Florida have offered him.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="848063" first="Cam" last="Oates"] - Oates is an exciting prospect to watch given his ability to play with a ton of energy on both ends. He’s a strong guard that’s starting to gain some interest on the recruiting trail given his ability to operate off the bounce and control the pace on both ends using his quickness and instincts. Teams in need of a heady floor general should be in touch. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1028008" first="Christian" last="Cornish"] - Cornish is a versatile prospect at 6-foot-5 that can guard the opposing team’s best player while still acting as a formidable option on the offensive end. He’s got nice strength to go along with his length and does well to make winning plays when he’s on the floor. He’s a prospect due for some attention when the live period gets underway.</p>
