– All around player: Good luck finding a glaring weakness to attack. The young man has a little of everything and a lot of most when it comes to his game.
– Can score at all 3 levels: McKenney is a threat to score at all times. This puts a lot of pressure on opposing defenders to constantly account for him.
– Makes his teammates better: He can get buckets, but doesn’t have to be ball dominant to get his. This helps his teammates to feed off his success. He draws defenders and creates opportunities for others.
– Scoring in crunch time: McKenney is the type of kid that wants the ball in his hands in big moments.
– Draws fouls and knocks down free throws: He plays through contact and picks up a lot of and 1’s. When he gets to the line, he usually delivers.

There will be a ton of action in McKenney’s recruitment over the next 4 years. He recently received an offer from DePaul University.
