6’2 G Zuriel Marquez Zuriel Marquez 6'2" | CG Juan Diego Catholic | 2023 State UT | RSL Academy | CDE Elite | 2023 |
Zu has been one of those glue guys that just does a little bit of everything on the floor. He shoots it well from outside and he can get a 15-footer off quickly with one bounce. He has some great change of speed movement with the ball in his hands. He is active without the ball. Really like how he crashes boards on the offensive end of the floor and he can really get those defensive rebounds and push the tempo. He is an athletic kid that can get up and finish above the rim. Should make a notable jump this next year.
6’8 C Brayden Whitehead Brayden Whitehead 6'10" | C Bingham | 2023 State UT | Bingham High School | 2023 |
Brayden is a diamond in the rough as he is un-heard of and unseen. Rarely got in varsity games as a sophomore but he looks like he might have a shot at making a name for himself moving forward as he is long and he can move up and down the floor. Brayden is super raw but he has the will and he is a great shot altering big that will throw a few dunks down. Really like his tough around the basket. Keep an eye on this hidden gem.
6’0 PG Jaxon Smith Jaxon Smith 6'1" | PG Woods Cross | 2023 State UT | Woods Cross | 2023 |
Jaxon is a lights out shooter that can run the PG spot. Moves well without the ball and his relocation ability to get space is nice as well. Great athlete that is tough. He is a hidden gem that could really pop this Spring and Summer.
6’9 C Aaron Dunne Aaron Dunne 6'9" | C American Fork | 2023 State UT | American Fork High School | Jimmer Elite | 2023 |
Aaron is a big body that is a load to stop down on the blocks. He has a great game with his back to the basket and he is really making some improvement defensively as well.
6’1 G Chomp (Jaxson) Jones Chomp (Jaxson) Jones 6'1" | CG Desert Hills | 2023 State UT | Desert Hills High School | Utah Empire | 2023 |
Chomp is a kid who could really do it all. He has great vision when the ball is in his hands and he can also handle the ball well. He is good at creating for himself and others. He’s got great confidence when he is shooting the ball from deep. He has that Swiss Army Knife type of a game as he is going to be able to stat stuff at any level. Look for him to continue to improve with time on the floor.
