The AAU season is in full swing with teams crossing state lines to face off against each other. Prospects have taken full advantage of this as they have risen their stocks in a big way. Here are the top Garden State forwards who are starting to break onto the scene.

[player_tooltip player_id="992524" first="Aaron" last="Bradshaw"], 7’0 PF Camden 2023

Bradshaw’s stock has been rising since April and it will continue to go up as the summer AAU season rolls on. The 7-footer has a good face-up game as he feels comfortable on the perimeter. Bradshaw has a good release on his jumper and knows how to finish around the basket. He attacks the offensive glass and is one of the top shot-blockers in the class. Bradshaw recently picked up a pair of offers from Miami and St. John’s as his name gains more steam going into June.

[player_tooltip player_id="900364" first="Dominick" last="Barlow"], 6’7 SF Dumont 2022

Barlow has yet to decide where he will be doing his postgrad season, but that does not take anything from his play. The 6’7 forward is at the best attacking the basket as he can finish in a variety of ways and knows how to draw contact. Barlow has a nice release on his jumper and is an underrated passer. He is a strong rebounder and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Barlow picked up offers from Pittsburgh and Providence in April and his list should grow as the months go by.

[player_tooltip player_id="1153967" first="James" last="Moore"], 6’9 PF Patrick School 2024

Moore has established himself as one of the top forward prospects in the 2024 class during this AAU season playing for the NY Rens. The 6’9 combo forward is comfortable playing on the perimeter as his range extends past the three-point line. Moore can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He has the potential to defend multiple positions due to his combination of length and athleticism. Creighton and Nebraska offered Moore back in April and he should receive more offers as the AAU season continues.

Javon Adams, 6’9 SF Olympus Prep 2022

Adams is a lanky forward prospect that has seen his stock rise this AAU season. The 6’9 forward is a mismatch as he is too big for most wings and too quick for most post players. Adams has a smooth jumper and uses his length to shoot over his defender. He is an underrated passer and can handle the ball on the perimeter. Adams picked up offers from La Salle, East Carolina and Iona in April and his offer sheet should only get longer.

[player_tooltip player_id="850512" first="Josh" last="Rivera"], 6’7 SF St. Thomas Aquinas 2022

Rivera has been playing well for the NY Jayhawks this spring as he is deciding where he will do his postgrad year. The 6’7 forward is a big-time athlete who loves to finish above the rim. Rivera is more than just a dunker as he can also knock down jumpers from distance. He is a strong rebounder and can defend both forward spots. Rivera’s combination of athleticism and talent makes him a prospect to watch in the Garden State this season.
