Day 3 of Standouts for Bash in the Desert 2021

<p>Day 3 was in my opinion the best day for Bash in the Desert. I was able to see some real talent that snuck by me for the first 48 hours. Here are some players to keep and eye out for!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="919687" first="Noah" last="White"] | Idaho Premier</p> <p>Noah really showed me he was a player to watch with his sneaky athleticism and shooting! But it gets even better, as he is also an equally good ball-handler, and decision-maker with the basketball, setting up his teammates for scoring opportunities while also showcasing his offensive talents. Noah is very talented at getting in the lane and finishing aggressively through contact.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Will</strong> <strong>Hinton</strong> | Utah Force</p> <p>Again, here is another player that EVERY coach wants to have on their roster! Will is the do it all type of guy! You need someone out there jumping on loose balls, boxing out for rebounds, setting screens to open up opportunities for teammates, and hitting clutch shots when needed? Will is your guy! His high motor and unselfish mentality just spreads to the rest of his teammates. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="826999" first="Andrew" last="King"] | Arizona Select</p> <p>Andrew is an amazing basketball player. What first caught my eye was he was the vocal inspiration for his team. He was always trying to hype up his teammates and get them engaged. He is an amazing ball-handler, that is a pass-first guard. Don’t let that fool you as if he is a weak scorer, because King will get to the rim and finish through contact as well as shoot you out of the gym. Don’t sleep on this kid!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="814038" first="Noah" last="Amenhauser"] | Arizona Factory</p> <p>Noah is a 7’ SOPHOMORE, that just catches your eye right away. He is already a great rebounder with strong post moves. He blocks 80% of the shots put up around the rim whether it is his man or he is in help defense. Again this kid is only a SOPHOMORE, so his upside is amazing!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Diego Ruybalid</strong> | Az Junior Ballers</p> <p>Diego is a very talented lefty, who caught my eye with this shooting. It was effortless for him to hit a jump shot off the catch or the dribble. He has a very high motor, with outstanding energy everywhere on the court. Diego is a very slithery finisher getting contact on his finishes at the rim resulting in extra free throw attempts.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1154318" first="Michael" last="Folarin"] | Arizona Firestorm</p> <p>Michael is an elite athlete. He uses his amazing bounce to snatch rebounders over everyone, or even just dunk the basketball over defenders. He is a force in the paint and you have to pay attention to him or it might just be too late for you because he is dunking it on your head. His post work is very solid and strong, which gets him to the free-throw line a lot.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="827000" first="Dorell" last="Thomas"] | Team Rondae Hollis-Jefferson</p> <p>I really liked the activity I seen from Dorell around the rim, whether that be boxing out and getting rebounders, 50/50 balls, or finishing at the rim. Then he showed me that he could step out and stretch the floor and shoot it from the outside. Lastly, he shows great activity on the defensive end using his length and athleticism to play solid man-to-man defense. Great overall player!</p>
