As the spring winds down look for these guys to have nice impacts during the June session with their high schools, and then back together in July for the big summer grassroots push.
Fernando Garcia, 6’6 F, 816 Varsity, Olathe East, 2023: The big man is a consistent hard nosed and hard playing forward who brings a bunch to the court with him in each game he played in this spring. Still learning the game and growing into his body, Garcia makes up for it with his athleticism, effort, and tenacity on the court. He has a ton of upside, a soft and smooth looking jumper. He was a solid multi faceted tool for 816 this spring on the court. Also brings weak side shot blocking with him.
Tyler Little Tyler Little 6'5" | PF Galena | 2023 State KS , 6’6 F, 816 Varsity, Galena, 2023: Consistently this spring he got 8-12 points, 6-10 rebounds, a couple of blocks, and one or two assists a game. With his size, skill, and IQ combination he is always making an impact on the basketball floor. Last weekend he put up another solid tournament up in Lincoln as he continued his solid and consistent spring campaign.
Landon Wagler Landon Wagler 6'8" | PF Shawne Mission Northwest | 2022 State KS , 6’5 F, MoKan 2022, Shawnee Mission Northwest: Wagler has been big time across the board each game for MoKan 2022 this spring, being a catalyst for their wins and also has kept them in multiple ball games. His shooting ability to match his length has proved to be a constant weapon on the floor, and he is having himself quite the spring. Finds ways to score the ball, and is versatile in his skill set with the ball.
Kamryn Kaniper Kamryn Kaniper 6'4" | SF Silver Lake | 2023 State KS , 6’5 F, SSA Elite 2023 Black, Silver Lake (Pictured): Kaniper has been tremendous playing with the 16U squad and playing up some on the top 17U group. In both instances he brings a solid package to the court in every game. He is gonna get you a couple of blocks, loose balls, big rebounds, and eye popping plays in transition regardless of where he is playing. An underrated passer with solid court vision as well, he has been good for a couple of assists per game.
Jace Linenberger Jace Linenberger 6'7" | C Hays | 2022 State KS , 6’6 F, Midwest Magic, Hays, 2022: The staple of the front court at Hays was also terrific throughout the spring. A constant double double threat on the floor, Linenberger has really solid footwork, touch with both hands, and is terrific on the glass. A big time forward prospect who is just a solid and reliable forward that fits into a ton of roles and systems. This summer should be big for him.
