These are some standout players from Bash in the Desert Day one!

Jakob Thompson | Idaho Premier

Jakob is a very skilled 6’ guard that is hard to stay in front of. He has a very high motor that tires out anyone trying to guard him. He is a great ball-handler that can break the defender down off the dribble and either shoot or make a play for a teammate to score. He is an active defender never taking plays off. What I like about him the most was his movement without the ball! Never stayed in one spot for too long and was keeping the offense in motion.

[player_tooltip player_id="1183310" first="Corey" last="Wood"] | Team Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Corey is a 6’6 athletic shooter. He is a good on-ball defender not giving up open lanes to drive. He contests shots without fouling and is a good shot blocker. He is a great catch-and-shoot guy. Corey is still young and I see a lot of potential in his game.

[player_tooltip player_id="996161" first="Lashy" last="Perez"] | Team Ronda Hollis-Jefferson

Very quick and crafty guard. Finishes tough shots in the lane, and is able to create havoc with his ball handling. I really liked how he pushes the pace in transition keeping the defense on their heels.

[player_tooltip player_id="937182" first="Royce" last="Ramos"] | PAL Elite

Royce is a very skilled wing. He is 6’5 with a quick first step. Royce has good ballhandling and is always trying to get his teammates involved. Very unselfish! Shoots well from anywhere on the court with a soft touch. He is very strong in the post and has great touch when finishing around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="827035" first="Shamar" last="Moore"] | Arizona Select

This was the Day one gem for me! Moore is VERY athletic. He is overall an amazing player. He is a very strong finisher in the lane, breaking down his defenders with good, quick ball handling. He is a good shooter off the catch. Shamar is a tough defender and hard to get around. Shamar is a fierce competitor and wants to win every possession
