The varsity team won 24 games in a row and set a new school record. Their coach does a great job of building and developing players. It is easy to see that the Sheyenne program is used to winning. The future is certainly bright for the Mustangs!

Below are the players playing AAU this spring and summer:

[player_tooltip player_id="1046354" first="Michael" last="Nhial"] (2022) |6-7 F| Team Sizzle – The first twin-tower for Sheyenne. A smooth shooting lefty that can cash in from 3-point range. He had some amazing dunks this year during the high school season. With a ton of scoring graduating this year, Michael will have the green light to put up big points. Nhial has a great right hand when dribbling and finishing. After college coaches get a look at him this summer, he will be a household name. Michael is already a stud; he is about to be a star.

[player_tooltip player_id="812221" first="Dominic" last="Dosmann"] (2022) |6-8 F| ECI Prospects – The second twin-tower for Sheyenne. Another great lefty for the Mustangs. He does the dirty work and the little things extremely well. He should be one of the best rebounders in the EDC next year. Dominic is a rim protector, and he plays excellent help-side defense. He has a nice soft jump shot. I see Dominic averaging a double-double next high school season. He should be a beast on the block. His long arms enable him to finish over smaller defenders. I know some colleges are already looking, soon there will be many.

[player_tooltip player_id="1141521" first="Dylan" last="Beyl"] (2023) |6-3 G| ECI Prospects – He is a nice athlete that can do a little of everything. He shoots it well from outside. Dylan is aggressive off the bounce. He plays unselfishly. I see him as a solid defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="1133064" first="Kaleb" last="Larson"] (2022) |6-1 G| ECI Selects – He will replace some of the 3-point shooting that is graduating for the Mustangs. Kaleb can really shoot it from 3-point land. He has a soft and easy-looking shot. Kaleb has extended range. If they double off him to help in the post Larson will be spotting up for a triple. He will help stretch the floor for the Mustangs.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164105" first="Turo" last="Moni"] (2024) |6-4 F| ECI Selects – He has a strong drop-step move that is tough to defend. He is not done growing yet, so lookout. Turo has a nice mid-range jumper. Moni is also a capable 3-point shooter. It sounds like he is already having a nice AAU season. The ceiling is very high for Mr. Moni.

[player_tooltip player_id="1168180" first="Jaxson" last="Miller"] (2024) |5-9 G| ECI Selects – Another 3-point threat for the Mustangs. Jaxson is an athletic guard who plays the game the right way. He gives great effort on both sides of the ball. Miller is a pesky on-ball defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="1161537" first="Isaiah" last="Williams"] (2024) |5-8 G| ECI Prospects – He is a quick guard that will be good in the Mustangs zone press. He is a skilled ballhandler. Isaiah is a capable shooter from the outside. He moves well without the ball and spaces the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1179065" first="John" last="Angau"] (2024) |5-10 G| Team Sizzle – Skilled shooter and one of the best 3 pointer shooters in the program. Athletic guard with crafty finishes around the bucket. He’s a late bloomer but he has a high ceiling to be a really great guard when he is a junior or senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167609" first="Sully" last="Ihry"] (2025) |5-10 G| Inspired Athletics – A remarkable young guard that has looked impressive so far on the AAU scene. He is a competitor that does what it takes to win. Ihry has advanced skills for his age. He has a nice pull-up J and some slick handles with the rock.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167612" first="Drew" last="Swenson"] (2025) |5-6 G| Inspired Athletics – He is becoming a reliable outside shooter. Drew finishes well around the rack. He has the potential to be a solid guard in the future for Sheyenne.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167616" first="Owen" last="Sevald"] (2025) |5-11 F| Inspired Athletics – A hard-working forward. Owen is a physical player that does not shy away from contact. Look for him to develop his post moves and become a serious scoring threat in the near future.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164795" first="Colby" last="Walter"] (2024) |6-3 G| ND Attack – A flexible player that is tough to keep out of the lane. He excels at slicing through defenses. Walter can also space the floor and hit the trey. He hits the O-boards hard. Walter will battle for serious minutes next year with the Mustangs.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164792" first="Riley" last="Rahr"] (2024) |6-3 G| ND Attack – A long and problematic defender. Riley is at his best when attacking and getting two feet in the lane. He can also stroke the 3-ball. Rahr has the ability to be a big-time scorer.
