Jamariea Dalton Jamariea Dalton 6'3" | SG Fond Du Lac | 2023 State WI — Power Five — 2023
Dalton was no doubt a top performer on Sunday morning. The shooting guard out of Fon Du Lac is a strong, athletic prospect that can make outside shots and finish contested layups at the rim. On defense, Dalton used his athletic ability to tally two big blocks in Power Five’s win. If he continues to impress on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Dalton will quickly climb up the rankings in Wisconsin’s 2023 class.
Marshaun Flakes — B3 Athletics — 2023
Scoring 27 points in a win for B3 Athletics, Flakes looked phenomenal. The 6-foot-2 guard started the game by dominating on defense. His aggressive style allowed him to get steals, which led to easy transition buckets. As he heated up and gained confidence, Flakes started to knock down deep three-point shots. Flakes was one of the best scorers in the gym on Sunday.
Dwight Lomax — Rush Academy — 2023
There may not have been a prospect that played harder than Lomax did in the first half of Rush Academy’s loss. The 5-foot-9 point guard was sprinting all over the place, looking to get steals and frustrate his opponent. After Lomax dominated of defense, he started to get going on offense. Lomax drove to the rim and made some layups. He also converted on some contested jump shots.
Levi McKenzie — B3 Athletics — 2023
McKenzie is a true point guard that can do it all. McKenzie made a three-pointer on the game’s first possession and after that, he did a great job of finding open teammates. I love how the PG is able to control the pace on offense with his intelligent play. McKenzie was straw that stirred the drink for B3 Athletics at the Chi-Town Tip Off.
Miles Rubin Miles Rubin 6'7" | PF Homewood Flossmoor | 2023 State #243 Nation IL — Meanstreets — 2023
Rubin might have been the best overall prospect that I saw play on Sunday. He used his long arms to block multiple shots and score in the paint. The small forward also threw down multiple big-time dunks. Rubin has an incredible upside, and if he continues to improve, I think that he will be a really good player at the next level.
Jack Janicki — D1 Minnesota — 2023
Even though D1 Minnesota was blown out by a very talented Meanstreets team, I still think that Janicki can look at his performance and hold his head high. At 6-foot-4, the SG/SF is an effortless playmaker that showed an ability to pass and make difficult shots. Janicki’s future will be very bright if he can continue to find ways to improve.
Marcus Pigram Marcus Pigram 6'3" | SG Whitney Young | 2023 State IL — Meanstreets — 2023
Playing for a Meanstreets team that is loaded with top talent, I thought that Pigram served as a valuable glue guy. The point guard takes care of many little things so his talented teammates can focus on making shots. Pigram is an aggressive defender that wasn’t willing to give his opponent an inch of space. On offense, he was a great ball handler that was able to find open teammates.
