The #PHSpringKickoff came and went, but not without some of the state’s best players going at it in a different setting. It was a stock-boosting event from some, but here is my list of five players that truly separated themselves over the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="1150078" first="Brady" last="Jones"] – Pluto Prospects

The biggest stock booster in the entire event was [player_tooltip player_id="1150078" first="Brady" last="Jones"]. Jones is a player that we saw a few times for Lewis-Palmer, but he looks a bit different in this kind of setting. When he is in a free-flowing offense that allows him to just play, he excels because he is a hardworking big man who is physically gifted, and his athleticism separates him from the pack. Jones had the highlight play of the entire weekend when he went body-to-body on a defender, which he slammed and sent the unsuspecting guard to the floor for the and-1 finish. Jones followed that play up with a tomahawk slam that would’ve made even Dwyane Wade give him a "10" in the dunk contest. In other games, he showed a soft touch from inside and the willingness to bang with the big players. Jones does not shy away from contact and welcomes all physicality that guys bring. He is not only a stock-boosting big man, but from only what we saw from this weekend alone, we have had conversations about where he fits as the best big man in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="1019153" first="Drew" last="Reichart"] – Colorado Chaos

Reichart started a bit slow to begin the weekend as he appeared to be playing guard a bit, but once he got back to his natural position on the block, he dominated. Reichart can impact the game with his size and physicality as he is not easily moved on the blocks and rebounds in bunches. He alters shots at the rim, and the highlight of the weekend was in the Chaos’s win over PSB. Reichart was the MVP in the game as he finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds against the tallest player at the event. He kept him off of the boards, finished in traffic with him around, and was very active in the game. Reichart plays above his size and is a versatile player that has looked comfortable in the last couple of games. Stock-boosting event for him.

[player_tooltip player_id="618878" first="Derik" last="Pranger"] - RoughRidersGive

It does not matter the setting or which team that Pranger is with; he will play with extreme confidence and get the shots that he wants. Pranger has excellent size at 6’7 and a game-ready jump shot. He moves without the ball, can create for himself, and can put the ball on the floor to get the shot he wants. Pranger showed the ability to fit in with a different team and still play within himself. He was aggressive and assertive with a new bunch and still managed to be one of the leading scorers in every setting. Pranger mixed it up a bit and got to the rim, which is more than what we’re used to seeing and is a player to watch for the summer. Great event for him to turn heads.

[player_tooltip player_id="1167172" first="Ben" last="Buhler"] -- Colorado Chaos

Buhler is a player that not only boosted his stock, but a player that we should’ve known more about, and he had a debut weekend for us. He turned heads in every game as he played with heart and battled, even when the game was over, and helped lead his team to victory in others. Buhler is an athletic guard that stars in his role, makes the smart play, and takes what the defense gives him. He is an athletic guard that tried to dunk on defenders while others were doing everything to avoid all contact. Buhler plays hard on both ends of the floor, scores from all 3-levels, and is coachable. He did all of the things that go unnoticed, like boxing out and diving for loose balls, and went on mini-scoring flurries as well. This was the event for him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046034" first="Cameron" last="Lowe"] – Pluto Prospects

Lowe is a player that we were already high on with the potential and understanding of the game, but how we saw him perform in big games over the weekend, he solidified his stance in the rankings and showed what makes him special. Lowe is a solid scorer with a college-ready body and willingness to want to take over in games. There were and-1 finishes, deep 3-point shots, and finishes at the rim that not many other players can make. In the win over RoughRidersGive, he gave the team momentum with highlight finishes with the defenses draped all over him. Lowe is a natural scorer with high upside, and when he gets into a rhythm, he makes it so that teams cannot hang with a talented Pluto squad. It was a great weekend to prove himself as we finally got to see what a healthy Lowe looks like.
