Amont’e Allen-Johnson Amont’e Allen-Johnson 6'1" | PG Dream City Christian | 2023 State AZ -Johnson (2023, PG, Grand Blanc)
On a loaded Grand Blanc roster, Allen-Johnson still makes his impact felt. He’s a versatile guard and a solid perimeter defender. Allen-Johnson is smart and efficient on offense, recognizing high percentage scoring opportunities and taking advantage of them.
Kaden Brown Kaden Brown 5'10" | PG Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)
Brown has had a lights out sophomore season. He plays the point with some flash and flare with his shiftiness around the rim. Brown does a nice job controlling the game and making sure that his fingerprint is on it. If he plays big, Grand Rapids Catholic Central will be a very tough out the rest of the way in the state playoffs.
Owen Colpaert Owen Colpaert 6'1" | SG Macomb Dakota | 2023 State MI (2023, SG, Macomb Dakota)
Colpaert has been terrific this season. He’s shown a ton of growth as a player from when the season tipped off to present day. He’s a confident and smooth scorer and can fill it up from multiple levels. Colpaert will be, without a doubt, a high impact player the rest of the way.
Triston Nichols Triston Nichols 6'2" | SF De La Salle | 2023 State MI (2023, SF, Warren De La Salle)
Nichols had one of the best grassroots seasons in the state, if you ask me. He’s continued that trend. Nichols is a physically strong wing that can mix it up under the rim. This makes him tough on the glass as well. When it comes to grit, he’s one of the top in the class.
Sonny Wilson Sonny Wilson 6'0" | PG UD Jesuit | 2023 State #189 Nation MI (2023, PG, UD Jesuit)
Wilson is nothing short of an elite lead guard, and not just in Michigan. In my opinion, he has power 5 potential. Wilson gets the ball down the floor quickly and efficiently with his ability to use the pass or the dribble to do so. He’s a quick twitch player that moves aggressively on the offensive end. Wilson will have a huge say in how far UD Jesuit can advance.
