2023 Rankings Update: The Stock Risers

But Kingery, a long, 6-4 wing from Indianola, now finds himself in the top 5 of the class after a very productive sophomore season. If he can become a more efficient shooter, he’ll be one of the best scoring threats in the state, as his handles and quickness make him really tough to keep out of the paint already. Standing at 7-0 and blessed with great physical tools and athleticism, he’s going to be a coveted prospect even if his offensive game doesn’t develop much past what it is right now due to his ability to rebound the ball and protect the paint. He’s a long, switchable defender with a knack for blocking shots, and he does a pretty good job at avoiding foul trouble. Sain is a long, athletic wing who can score from all three levels and impact the game on the defensive end. He’s got good size and length, plays with good pace, and is an excellent shooter. He has the ability to score from all three levels, is a willing passer and can be a versatile defender. He’s a good shooter with a quick release and extended range. He looked much more comfortable and confident against pressure defenses than he did as a freshman, and that was a huge boost to his assist and turnover numbers. He’s a good perimeter shooter who can shoot it equally effectively off the dribble or the catch.</p>
