The final update of the 2021 MD/DC rankings have been published and now it is time to breakdown the rankings. Below are the top centers in the MD/DC 2021 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="712747" first="Julian" last="Reese"] | 6’8 | Maryland

Mark Turgeon and his staff were able to convince Reese to stay close by at home for college and play for the Big Ten program. The Terps are getting a 6’10 post player that can finish with ease above the rim, block shots and rebound on both ends. Reese showed promising signs this year playing against some of the top high school teams from across the country.

[player_tooltip player_id="712751" first="Abdou" last="Samb"] | 6’9 | Rhode Island

Rhode Island used their recruiting momentum in the DMV area to grab another talented prospect in Samb. Samb is coming off a terrific summer and has continued to skyrocket in our rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="837931" first="Kevin" last="Kalu"] | 6’9 | Undecided

Kalu comes in as the top unsigned center in our rankings while being slotted at 18 overall in the 2021 class. Kalu is a stat sheet filler and is a prospect that local low majors should still be considering at this time in the calendar year.

Jedy Cordilla | 6’9 | Mount Saint Mary’s

Our forth ranked center prospect and 24th overall prospect, Jedy Cordilla, is a very nice pickup for The Mount who is coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance. We expect Cordilla to continue to help The Mount try and reach back to the big dance.

[player_tooltip player_id="1049493" first="Jamai" last="Felt"] | 6’8 | Undecided

The other unsigned senior in the top five center rankings is the Randallstown product, [player_tooltip player_id="1049493" first="Jamai" last="Felt"]. He has not been seen that much recently because of the pandemic but Felt is coming off a huge summer with Team Choo and is certainly a prospect for low major programs to take a glance on.
