The new 2021 rankings are out.

This season ended up being a short AIA season, a full Grind Session season, a condensed CAA season and a longer AAU season with showcase formats.

This 2021 class has met every obstacle possible and many are still looking for their next spots after HS.

We look at the Top-10 SG’s in the 2021 class:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="703805" first="Kiran" last="Oliver"] Phhoenix Prep

-A wildly athletic guard is a highlight reel waiting to happen. He has NBA shooting range and is a top-tier defender from on the perimeter and inside blocking shots. Oliver committed to New Mexico State.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="1035631" first="Joshua" last="Uduje"] Compass Prep

-A shooter earned himself a starting spot on a LOADED roster with his strong play. He also plays way above the rim on the break and his 3-ball has become a weapon. Uduje has D1 offers and heavy interest.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="703835" first="JJ" last="White"] Ironwood

-The top 3 and D guard in the AIA had a great year. He became an all-time leader in steals for Ironwood and was one of the best shooters from downtown. His body is college ready and is very under recruited currently.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="1049670" first="Darrell" last="Belcher"] Phhoenix Prep

-A strong guard is like a bowling ball getting into the lane. He uses his almost 200 pound build to score though contact and the lefty can shoot the 3.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="809728" first="Yahir" last="Garcia"] Southern AZ Volunteers

-A long and taller guard. He doesn't have the big frame like Belcher but he is arguably the best shooter in Tucson. He can pull-up from mid and has the deep range from the 3.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="1149000" first="Jaden" last="DeBoer"] Valley Christian (Pictured)

-One of the better AIA shooters I viewed all season long. He had eight games of five or more 3's made including 9 vs Gilbert Christian scoring 37 points. He verbally committed to Western Washington.

7. [player_tooltip player_id="809689" first="Coleman" last="Fields"] Millennium

-Another 3 and D type had a breakout season. He grew some, polished up his J and used his athletic talents to defend.

8. [player_tooltip player_id="1066478" first="Malik" last="Payton"] Florence

-An undersized guard shot the ball at ridiculous pace. (55% from the 3). He hit 8 vs Valley Christian and scored 41 points. He had 9 games of 25 points or more. He has gained many offers with his strong play this season.

9. [player_tooltip player_id="879991" first="Max" last="Kunnert"] Hillcrest Prep

-A 3pt specialist spread the floor all year for Foster and co. He has a quick release and squares up flawlessly.

10. [player_tooltip player_id="932362" first="Amarei" last="Hunter"] Desert Edge

-A long defender has improved each year. He is not the big scorer but scored 18 or more points six times including 24 vs 4A runner-up Paradise Honors with three made 3's. He covers a lot of ground and defends multiple positions.

5 Others:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="809727" first="Gunner" last="Wooden"] Glenview College Prep

-A long and lean shooter has garnered a lot of interest this season. He picked up multiple small school offers and when he is rolling, he is tough to stop from deep.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="1066472" first="Carter" last="John"] Bradshaw Mountain

-A little undersized but athletic and has improved as a shooter in the last year. He had an impressive 19 vs St. Mary's while hitting two 3's.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="809734" first="Miles" last="Guliford"] Liberty

-A lefty shooter gets hot quickly. He loves it from catch and shoot and collects steals with his quickness and good length.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="1117894" first="Noah" last="Simmons"] Glenview College Prep

-A do-it-all guard handles it, defends and makes the correct play. He shoots it well and has good length to defend. His catch-3 is consistent and he can drive it.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="809732" first="Carson" last="Biggs"] Desert Mountain

-A good shooter who defends the best guard/wing on each team. He can pull-up from mid plus make the catch-3.
