Homewood Flossmoor hosted Bolingbrook Friday night on senior night for the Vikings. This was a competitive game throughout as both teams can throw multiple post players at you and have strong guard play. In the end Bolingbrook picked up the road victory. We look at the prospects from this game in Top Performers: Bolingbrook vs Homewood Flossmoor!

[player_tooltip player_id="989271" first="Mekhi" last="Cooper"] (Bolingbrook – 2023)

This was the best game I have seen the Bolingbrook sophomore point guard play. It all started with his intensity and hands on the defensive end. Got steal after steal early which resulted in points on the other end. Plays with speed in the open floor pushing the pace and finding others ahead of him. More than capable shooter knocking down four from beyond the arc in this game. Netted 23 points and has some nice momentum heading into the spring.

[player_tooltip player_id="1048730" first="Jaydin" last="Dunlap"] (Bolingbrook – 2022)

Dunalp continues to progress. Combo guard can really knock down shots being highly effective in the mid-range with his pull up game while also being able to stretch it to beyond the arc on occasion as well. Went for 10 points in the win. Primed for a big spring.

[player_tooltip player_id="920978" first="Kyonte" last="Thomas"] (Bolingbrook – 2021)

Trinity International got quite a program making guard in Thomas. He is an elite on ball defender that gave the HF backcourt fits all night with his relentless pressure defense. Brings energy to that end which translates over to others on his team. Nice pull up game from mid-range is his strength on the offensive end along with his overall toughness. Went for 9 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="771544" first="Christian" last="Meeks"] (Homewood Flossmoor – 2022)

Meeks is an undersized four that brings it every time out. He rebounds at such a high level both in and out of his area. Really like what he brings defensively being able to guard multiple spots with his athleticism, mobility, and physicality. Efficient scorer around the hoop that can handle in the open floor as well. Low-majors and D2s need to heavily track him this spring. Went for 10 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="1048305" first="Wesley" last="Rubin"] (Homewood Flossmoor – 2023)

The stock keeps going up for Rubin. He was efficient converting in the paint on dump offs and running the floor in transition. Shows touch and feel scoring in the paint. Even stepped out to hit a three with a bit of a straight line release. He went for 13 points. D1 prospect early on in the process.
