Snowflake vs Page 3A Chip standouts

<p>On Saturday March 20th I attended the 3A Chip of Snowflake Lobos vs Page Sand Devils at Eastmark HS in Mesa/AZ. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Here were some of the varsity standouts of the game:</p> <p><strong>Page 64</strong> Snowflake 51 (unofficial stats)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Page</p> <p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1024093" first="Stuart" last="Sandall"] Page (Pictured) </b>(18 pts 11 rebs 1 ast 1 stl 4 blks)</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">-A very fluid 5-man runs the floor like a wing. He hedges well and can defend PG’s to the post players. He tracks the ball well to block shots and he rebounds well in traffic. The lefty has a soft touch on his jumper from mid and in. He has a drop step move to utilize and springs up impressively to dunk the ball. He gets pushed around a little with his lean body and can add weight to his frame. </span></p> <p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="999013" first="Robert" last="Smith"] Page</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (11 pts 3 rebs 5 asts)</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">-A steady lead guard who can shoot it from the 3pt line. He has nice court vision and threaded the needle a few times for some assists. He can drive the lane and make a layup or get fouled. He can score it inside but likes shooting it. He rebounds well in his area using his bounce and is aggressive in the passing lanes plus takes charges on the norm.  </span></p> <p><b>Orlandon Yazzie CG 5’9 2023 Page </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">(15 pts 3 stls)</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">-A very quick combo guard who was pivotal in their state Chip win. He made multiple 50/50 plays and was a pest on the ball defensively. He can hit the catch-3 plus from mid-range and utilizes the floater well.  </span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Snowflake</p> <p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1154332" first="Stewart" last="West"] Snowflake</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (16 pts)</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">-An undersized 4-man is very athletic. He has a quick second jump and is very strong. He has a nice hook shot he can use plus play a little bully ball using his strength. He avg 17.5 ppg and 8.5 rbs per game and you can see why. </span></p> <p><b>Michael Brimhall CG 5’11 2021 Snowflake</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (9 pts)</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">-A scoring lead guard has a polished floater game and a nice looking jumper. He has the mid-range and a 3-ball. He had a good season playing off of West. </span></p>
