<p>What SCISA Class 1A Seniors recently said farewell to their high school careers. Lets checkout some of these UNSIGNED Seniors right here in this article. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/02/E5D08859-A043-4639-B2EA-E4E66F58E7E4.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1135960" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/02/E5D08859-A043-4639-B2EA-E4E66F58E7E4-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="869623" first="Xavier" last="Thornton"] - Anderson Christian</strong></p> <p>Thornton was a great addition to a already talented team for Head Coach Josh Brown this season. Thornton had bounced around a bit the past seasons. Thornton making more of a conversion to the perimeter this season has received interest from several schools in the NCAA D2 ranks according to Brown. Anderson University, Lander University, Newberry and Lincoln Memorial all have been in contact with Thornton according to Brown. Thornton is best when he looks to attack the basket and play with a WARRIOR mentality. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="995845" first="Bray" last="Greer"] - Anderson Christian (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Greer came up big all week for the Lions in his play. Greer a bit of a TWEENER on the floor can play inside-out. Greer rebounds the ball well out of his area along with at times handing the the rock. Greer is open in the recruiting process and has heard from Young Harris (GA), Toccoa Falls (GA) and Truett  McConnell (GA) according to Coach Brown. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/06/D7F713F2-F837-4BA5-8EAB-9BEA82417F01.jpeg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-994184" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/06/D7F713F2-F837-4BA5-8EAB-9BEA82417F01-300x197.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927547" first="Mark" last="Jackson"] - Anderson Christian </strong></p> <p>Jackson really likes to play the game downhill attacking the basket. Jackson excels in the transition game and looks to attack at all times. Jackson started off his career at Westside HS (Anderson) before coming over to Anderson Christian. Jackson is a bit passive to shoot the ball on the perimeter at times and gets a bit reckless at times. Jackson plays the game extremely hard and isn’t afraid to get down on the floor.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/18195B95-7048-46DE-8EA5-3CD96766EAAC.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1142896" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/18195B95-7048-46DE-8EA5-3CD96766EAAC-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927527" first="Myles" last="Ulmer"] - Anderson Christian </strong></p> <p>Ulmer excels in the classroom with 1200 SAT according to Brown. Ulmer and Jackson joined forces again after both leaving Westside HS   (Anderson). Ulmer can step-out and knockdown the perimeter jumper. Ulmer just Jackson are completely wide open in the recruitment process according to Coach Brown. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/02/E4437DED-A4B3-47B7-940A-680A7466020B.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1135950" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/02/E4437DED-A4B3-47B7-940A-680A7466020B-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840260" first="Hudson" last="Brown"] - Anderson Christian </strong></p> <p>Brown a point guard has the potential to play at a small college. Brown plays for his father on the Lions roster. Brown will make heady plays and plays within his limitations on the floor.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/16DFD048-DB7F-4464-96CD-22F92CC6D739.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1142897" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/16DFD048-DB7F-4464-96CD-22F92CC6D739-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1106344" first="Rod" last="Clinkscales"] - Anderson Christian</strong> </p> <p>Clinkscales came over to the Lions this year after attending T.L. Hanna HS (Anderson). Clinkscales came out on fire in a opening round game vs Low Country Prep in knocking down some three pointers. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/0B1B8CE0-712F-4026-9755-CBFB3DAAC349.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1142596" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/0B1B8CE0-712F-4026-9755-CBFB3DAAC349-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927542" first="Payton" last="Gardner"] - Newberry Academy </strong></p> <p>Gardner scored over 1,700 career points for the Eagles since starting since his 8th grade year. Gardner a left-handed forward played for his father Scott Gardner during this time. Gardner played several sports for the Eagles over the years including football and baseball. Gardner is also a swimmer to boot. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/5A0E05CC-BCF4-4648-A8B9-F0F16192BC72.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1142595" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/03/5A0E05CC-BCF4-4648-A8B9-F0F16192BC72-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1106317" first="Tony" last="McLean"] - Newberry Academy </strong></p> <p>McLean scored over 1,200 career points for the Eagles. McLean and Gardner will leave a big void on the Eagles roster next year. McLean a off guard has a nice stroke from the perimeter and good feel for the game. </p>
