Rocktop Academy (PA) AJ Burnett 6’6 ‘21 (UNSIGNED) Burnett is a wide-body big who is able to rim run and finish in a wide range of ways near the basket. He is able to out-muscle opponents when he is on the block He is also able to attack downhill & has an in-between jumper that can be deadly if opponents don’t know about it. He is able to hold his own down low and plays with a lot of toughness. Bernie Blunt 6’1 ‘21 (UNSIGNED) Blunt is a never-fazed guard who never seems to get rattled by the moment. He shoots the cover off the ball and is also able to get to a wide array of spots on the floor. He has a high basketball IQ and is an extension of the coach on the floor. Blunt is also a regular at the free-throw line. Daniel Akitoby 6’9 21 (UNSIGNED) Akitoby is a versatile big with an immense offensive game. He is effective from deep and can also score inside. He dives for 50/50 balls and gets deflections. Akitoby blend of size and length allows him to cover more ground with ease. Ali Ragab 7’0 ‘22 Every time I have seen Ali he keeps showing more improvement. He is very effective and holds his own down-low-altering shots with regularity. He also has been working on his body and is getting more into shape. Ali runs the floor well and can finish around the rim. His best basketball is still ahead of him. National Christian (MD) Brayon Freeman 6’1 ‘21 (GW) Freeman is a crafty guard who is very good at getting too specific spots on the floor. He was able to score from behind the arc and around the rim. He has the tendency to initiate offense anytime the ball is in his hands. Zion Russell 6’2 ‘22 Russell is a 2-way explosive athlete who showed that he could play on or off the ball. He was able to knock down shots from the perimeter, attack downhill and draw fouls which allowed him opportunities at the foul line. He also applies great ball pressure and picks of full-court often He also showed unselfishness on the offensive end making the extra pass and getting his teammates involved. Clarence Obiajulu 6’7 ‘21 (UNSIGNED) Obiajulu is a chiseled workhorse forward who plays with toughness. He is an explosive athlete who climbs the ladder to get alley-oops. He takes charges and makes smart basketball plays. Coaches who are looking for an athletic big with a great work ethic should consider taking a look at Obiajulu. Isaiah Coleman 6’3 ‘23 Coleman is a budding wing with a blend of length and athleticism. He made his presence felt on both ends of the floor, he has an assertive motor. Coleman was able to finish above the rim and around the blocks. He also converted on a few tough shots. He does a nice job of finding a man to box. Coleman will only get better with experience and development which will make him an intriguing long-term prospect.
