Miller is one of five Redhawks players averaging in double figures this year including the 10.7 a game from Hercy’s freshman brother Mercy Miller and the 10.6 a game from Hercy. Miller was offered by Tennessee State just under two weeks ago and today made the choice to join the Tiger program.
“Ever since I was young I was taught to be a leader, to not follow the crowd,” Hercy said to ESPN. “I want to make a change, I want to make a difference. With me I think I can change the narrative. People think you need to go to a big school to get to the pros but that’s not true.”
Tennessee State is a Historically Black College/University and Hercy is excited to go to the school.
