Brother Stoldt Series. Who excelled

<p>Stepinac takes a 3-0 lead over Iona Prep in this challenge series. These were the players who caught our eye.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1125584" first="Samuel" last="Gibbs"].    Stepinac</strong></p> <p>Usually don’t like to write up the same player for every game he plays in. But, when he’s exceptional you have to. Samuel has been spectacular. Not flashy, but extremely efficient. In-game 3 he shot 3-3 from beyond the arc. He not only scores but he gets his teammates involved. He had 4 assists but if this was hockey he would have had 9, many times his pass set up the offense to eventually lead to the bucket. Looking very poised and comfortable with the ball in his hand. Ivy schools have checked in on Samuel this would be a perfect fit for this player.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1046820" first="Joel" last="Baez"]           Stepinac</strong></p> <p>He has been consistent in all three games so far. In game 1,he showed his scoring prowess. In game 2,he made winning plays.  He is a very efficient player. Does all the little things in big ways. Can score it shoot it and a good handle. Good things happen when he is on the floor. MAAC and Patriot leagues have shown interest in Joel and more schools should have him on their radar.</p> <p><strong>Isiah Alexander     Stepinac</strong></p> <p>The talented transfer once again played really well.  He is very efficient around the rim (6-8). He also pulled down 8 rebounds. Isiah also showed his range, as he stepped out and hit a three.</p> <p><strong>Johnuel Fland       Stepinac</strong></p> <p>Boogie once again was sensational. He is making the case to be the MVP of this series. He was 5-7 from the floor (3-4) from three. He is smooth and cool under pressure. He is more than a scorer he is a complete player. 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals. </p> <p><strong>Bangaly Berete    Iona Prep</strong></p> <p> Great motor, long frame. Very athletic. Extremely quick off the bounce. Puts it on the floor and in all one motion he gets into the lane and finishes at the rim. Very good defensively and a good rebounder. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1046846" first="Justin" last="Allen"].        Iona Prep</strong></p> <p>Two weeks ago he looked smooth and comfortable with the ball in his hands in an Iona Prep scrimmage I attended. Well, in game three he bought that confidence and skill set into a game situation. Really nice pull-up jumper. Head is always up looking to make a play. Excellent court vision and awareness.
