Best Available 2021 Post Prospects

<p>In our final breakdown of the senior class we look at the best available 2021 post prospects that still remain on the board!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="652731" first="Ola" last="Ajiboye"] (Evanston)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #18</p> <p>Ajiboye made the move over to Evanston for his senior season.  The face up four can stretch the floor offensively to mid-range and flashes skill around the hoop.  His real value comes on the defensive end.  High level rim protector that swats shots at a great clip.  Rebounds well in and out of his area along with being able to defend in ball screen situations.  Low-major prospect for sure!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="920942" first="Grant" last="Newell"] (Whitney Young)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #21</p> <p>Newell had a strong summer, fall, and winter during the non-high school season where the production started to shine through.  Rebounded at a higher clip going after them aggressively.  Offensively he is a pick and pop shooting threat to out beyond the arc along with a rim runner.  Low-major and D2s should be recruiting him.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1152906" first="Sincere" last="Malone"] (Lincoln Park)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #36</p> <p>Upside forward with versatility.  He showcased a ton of tools in his bag last summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit.  Size for position with tremendous mobility and athleticism in the front court.  Can handle it taking it off the glass and going.  Shoots it at a decent clip and is a sound defender in the paint.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="920969" first="Kevin" last="Bozeman"] (Downers Grove North)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #46</p> <p>Bozeman is a long and lanky four that can stretch the floor with his shooting while also using his quickness on the interior to finish above the rim.  Bouncy forward has developmental upside!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="821764" first="Devon" last="Vanderheydt"] (Washington)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #47</p> <p>Ideal new age four man especially at the D2 level.  Nice frame and is a solid athlete with skill.  Plus spot up shooter that stretches the floor along with being able to mix it up inside on the boards and finishing in the paint.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049507" first="Tyrese" last="Shannon"] (Orr)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #50</p> <p>This long and lanky power forward brings major athleticism to the table on both ends.  Explosive shot blocking presence from the weakside along with being able defend on the perimeter.  Offensively he is a rim runner that flashes offensive potential at the next level.  Upside prospect!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="821783" first="Phillip" last="Holmes"] (Simeon)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #58</p> <p>Holmes was one of the top rim protectors in the city of Chicago this past season.  Good size and frame.  Has a feel for swatting shots and rebounding in his area.  Offensively he is mostly a rim runner and finisher on junk points around the hoop.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="652797" first="Joe" last="Melton"] (Norris City Omaha Enfield)</strong></p> <p>Current Ranking: #67</p> <p>Super duper sleeper from southern Illinois.  Face up post that can flat out shoot it from deep.  Silky smooth stroke along with decent athleticism.  High points rebounds and is a solid shot blocker.  Nice back to the basket game on the block.</p>
