AAU Preview: Wisconsin Playmakers South Showcase 17U

<p>The AAU travel season is set to begin later this month. Prep Hoops Wisconsin takes a look at the Wisconsin Playmakers South Showcase 17U squad.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ROSTER</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="865862" first="Noah" last="Compan"] - Small Forward - La Crosse Central</p> <p>Ranked No. 55 in Wisconsin’s 2022 class.  Averaged 11.0 points per game last season.  High-upside wing who can slash and knock down shots off the dribble.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 1rem;">[player_tooltip player_id="1089723" first="Dustin" last="Derousseau"] -   Shooting Guard - Tomah</span></p> <p>Averaged 14 points and three assists per game last season. Ranked No. 111 in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. Good size at 6-foot-3. Able to get up an down the floor in transition and be a consistent threat from beyond the arc.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="990740" first="Devon" last="Fielding"] - Point Guard - La Crosse Central</p> <p>Coming off a breakout junior season in which he averaged 17 points per game. High-IQ floor general who can knock down triples.  Ranked No. 69 in Wisconsin’s 2022 class.</p> <p><strong>Gavin Proudfoot - Power Forward - Luther</strong></p> <p>Led Luther to an appearance in the Division 4 state semifinals and a Coulee Conference title. Averaged 15 points and 8.5 rebounds per game as a junior.  Good blend of skill and power around the rim. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1117209" first="Quinn" last="Miskowski"] - Point Guard - La Cross Aquinas</p> <p>Skilled point guard with break-you-down ability off the dribble. Led Aquinas to a 14-6 record. Averaged 15 points per game last season.</p> <p><strong>Trenten DeCook - Small Forward - Byron (MN)</strong></p> <p>Ranked No. 198 in Minnesota’s 2022 class.</p> <p><strong>Braden Hemann - Forward - Waukon (IA)</strong></p> <p>Physical, mobile forward that can shoot in the mid-range.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958741" first="Jaxon" last="Marine"] - Small Forward - Byron (MN)</strong></p> <p>Ranked  No. 86 in Minnesota’s junior class.</p> <p><strong>Tristian McRoberts -  Small Forward - Melrose-Mindoro</strong></p> <p>Averaged 14 points, six assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game as a junior. Plus-length lefty with three-level scoring ability.
