2021 Rankings: Top Wings

<p>With the newly updated 2021 rankings coming out this week, let’s jump into some positional breakdowns. Here’s a look at the top Senior wings. We are going to skip over the players in the Top 10 of the class since those players have already been broken down in our Top 10 article.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="530673" first="DeAjuan" last="Stepp"], West Jessamine - </strong>Stepp's best basketball is still ahead of him as he is still working to improve his outside shooting to become a more complete player. Dee is an excellent slasher from the perimeter and can play on or off the ball and can guard every position on the court.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="793770" first="Wyatt" last="Vieth"], St. Henry - </strong>Headed to play his college ball at nearby Thomas More, Vieth has had an outstanding career for St. Henry and quietly been one of the best players to come through Northern Kentucky in the last few years. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923000" first="Sam" last="Conley"], Spencer County - </strong>A tremendous athlete, Conley has had a great career for the Bears. He has missed some time this season with injury but has shot the ball better from three than he has in other seasons. Sam has great size as a wing and rebounds the ball well.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923005" first="Tyler" last="Slone"], Oldham County - </strong>Slone is headed to West Virginia Wesleyan for college ball but has Oldham in position to make a run at Rupp Arena this season. Tyler is a great shooter who has been very efficient with his touches this season and among the best free throw shooters in Kentucky.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="793786" first="Mason" last="Moore"], Rowan County - </strong>Moore is a great basketball player but his college future is on the baseball diamond as he will player D1 baseball at the University of Kentucky. On the court, Mason is a versatile scorer who can get a bucket anywhere on the floor.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Other Names to Know:</strong></span></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="923008" first="Jared" last="Wellman"], George Rogers Clark - One of the best shooters in the class, Wellman is a versatile player who can play with or without the ball and rebounds well.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="714507" first="Zavian" last="Jackson"], Jeffersontown - One of the hidden gems of the class, Zavian is a big time athlete whose best basketball is all ahead of him.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="923009" first="Trace" last="Flanary"], Bowling Green - A junkyard dog type defender and versatile offensive player, Flanary can do a little bit of everything on the court.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="923007" first="Isaiah" last="May"], Johnson Central - One of the best players in the mountains the last several years, Isaiah has had a decorated career for JCC.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1069277" first="Andrew" last="Mason"], Bardstown - New to the rankings, Mason has a high ceiling and could be the type to go Juco then pop up at a Mid Major D1 in a year or two.</p>
