<p>Prep Hoops Maryland recently updated its <a href="https://prephoops.com/maryland/rankings/2021-rankings/"><strong>class of 2021 rankings</strong></a>, and now it's time to take a closer look. Six newcomers are featured below. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902058" first="Ashton" last="Andrews"]</strong> was a key rotation player for Avalon this winter. He plays with high energy and does all the little things that help win games. Andrews can spot up and knock down open threes as well. </p>
<p><strong>#140 | [player_tooltip player_id="1107101" first="Ryan" last="Richardson"] | Avalon</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1107101" first="Ryan" last="Richardson"]</strong> emerged as a potent weapon from the perimeter this past season. The sharpshooting wing moves well without the ball, sets his feet quickly, and has very good range on his jumper. </p>
<p><strong>#145 | [player_tooltip player_id="902078" first="William" last="Moreau"] | Bullis</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902078" first="William" last="Moreau"]</strong>'s breakout performance came at McNamara this winter. The stretch forward was on fire, knocking down 6 or 7 threes in that game. Moreau carried that momentum with him into the St. James Winter League and established himself as a capable floor spacer. </p>
<p><strong>#146 | [player_tooltip player_id="902098" first="Greg" last="Jones"] | Sidwell Friends</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902098" first="Greg" last="Jones"]</strong> had some bright moments for his team throughout its run to the championship. He is a big guard who has developed quite a bit both physically and mentally over the last couple of years. Jones is a team player who shares the ball, makes open shots, and competes defensively. </p>
<p><strong>#148 | [player_tooltip player_id="1106801" first="Michael" last="Ayala"] | St. John's Catholic Prep</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1106801" first="Michael" last="Ayala"] </strong>is a dependable point guard who knows how to win. He handles the ball well under pressure, makes shots from the perimeter, and is a crafty paint getter. </p>
<p><strong>#150 | [player_tooltip player_id="1106814" first="Michael" last="Wall"] | The Heights</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1106814" first="Michael" last="Wall"] </strong>is a blue-collar combo guard who is rangy and likes to attack the rim. He is shifty off the dribble and can hurt you with his pull-up jumper as well. Wall is a gritty competitor who fights for every 50/50 ball.</p>
