The season is winding down but there are still plenty of available Seniors who deserve scholarship looks. Here’s a few of the best players without offers right now.

[player_tooltip player_id="923006" first="Jevonte" last="Turner"], Knox Central - One of the best players in the mountains over the last several seasons, Turner has had a very good career but gets overlooked because he’s never played high level AAU and Knox rarely travels to the big cities to play good competition. Jevonte would be a steal for an NAIA team and could be the type of kid who goes to the Juco level and comes out as a D1 commit down the line.

[player_tooltip player_id="700979" first="Kole" last="Browne"], Madison Central - Browne didn’t play a ton of AAU because of baseball before we entered a pandemic last year. There aren’t many players in Kentucky who have had a better Senior season than Kole but he hasn’t gotten a ton of love thus far from colleges. If I were Campbellsville or Lindsey Wilson, I would have offered already. [player_tooltip player_id="700979" first="Kole" last="Browne"] is a winner!

[player_tooltip player_id="793779" first="Jacobi" last="Huddleston"], Bowling Green - One of the best remaining bigs in the state, Jacobi has the potential to be a D1 player down the line if his motor ever picks up. When he was younger, coach Sherrill said Jacobi could be better than Terry Taylor. That obviously didn’t happen but with his size and skill, Huddleston could make some college coach look like a genius if the light comes on for the big man from BG.

[player_tooltip player_id="793780" first="Hunter" last="Penn"], Woodford County - One of the more skilled players in the 8th region, Penn can score the ball all over and rebounds well. He can play with the ball in his hands at 6’6 or he can go to the block and hit defenders with an array of post moves. He doesn’t have ideal lateral footspeed but Hunter has a great basketball IQ and feel for the game. He’ll be a great pickup for whatever school signs him.
