<p>We continue our coverage of western Pennsylvania’s top players with the WPIAL 5A classifications top players for the current high school basketball season. These student/athletes are an extremely talented group that will be ready to perform each week. Let’s take a look at some of them...</p>

<h6>- A talented all-around player with a high-level skill-set</h6>
<h6>- He can get to the basket and shoot the mid-range jumper with accuracy</h6>
<h6>- Plays with an up-tempo style on the court</h6>
<h6>- Has a high basketball IQ and works hard to continue to develop his game</h6>
<h6>- Receiving a great amount of division 1 interest</h6>

<h6>Senior 6’2" Guard</h6>
<h6>- A player that looks to develop his game daily with hard work and dedication</h6>
<h6>- Proven to have the ability to score from anywhere on the floor at any time during the contest</h6>
<h6>- Has the talent to lead his team and "take over" games</h6>
<h6>- Is able to rebound and defend, while putting up points as well in bunches</h6>
<h6>- Receiving some division 1 and division 2 interest</h6>

<h6>Senior 6’2" Guard</h6>
<h6>- An extremely well-rounded player who can do a variety of things well</h6>
<h6>- Shoots the ball from the perimeter at a consistent level</h6>
<h6>- Is a proven leader on and off the court with his high character</h6>
<h6>- A skilled passer and distributor who makes his teammates better around him</h6>
<h6>- Receiving a good amount of college interest</h6>
<h6> </h6>
<h6>Mike Wells, New Castle High School</h6>
<h6>Junior 6’3" Guard/Forward</h6>
<h6>- A tough, hard-nosed player who has developed into a high-level performer</h6>
<h6>- Rebounds the ball well, a skilled passer, and leader on the floor</h6>
<h6>- Looks to make everyone better around him and communicates well with his team/coaches</h6>
<h6>- Can score from a variety of spots on the court with a well-rounded skillset</h6>
<h6>- Receiving college opportunities on a consistent basis</h6>
<h6> </h6>
<h6>[player_tooltip player_id="991034" first="Wes" last="Kropp"], Penn Hills High School</h6>
<h6>Senior 6’5" Forward</h6>
<h6>- He has developed into a perimeter player, not just a post player</h6>
<h6>- Looks to get his teammates involved throughout each game</h6>
<h6>- Has a high basketball IQ and is a proven leader</h6>
<h6>- Can block shots with tenacity and looks to run out on the break with a "big finish" dunk</h6>
<h6>- Receiving a lot of college communication</h6>
<h6> </h6>
<h6>As the season progresses this group with definitely expand on the players to watch, especially as the players get more adjusted to returning after the long break from basketball. Keep an eye out for the 5A Class of student/athletes in western PA, because they will continue to impress moving forward this basketball season.</h6>
