He garnered a variety of division 1 college scholarship offers in both sports but chose to concentrate on the gridiron. On the hoop court, Rodney has the natural ability and high IQ to lead his squad throughout four quarters of a game. Then when crunch time is evident, this young man “takes over” with his high-quality dribble moves and untouchable mid-range jumper. He is looking for Laurel Highland’s third WPIAL Championship in his four years in high school. That feat would be unmatched in their school history and Rodney will leave an outstanding legacy not only in sports but in the classroom as well.
