Which prospects made their mark in week nine of the Wisconsin high school basketball season?

[player_tooltip player_id="830582" first="Cameron" last="Palesse"] -- Waukesha West -- PG -- 2021

There is really nothing negative to say about Palesse’s senior season. The Waukesha West point guard is scoring an efficient 29.8 points per game. Through 13 games, he has only failed to score over 20 points in just one matchup. On Friday, he scored 36 points and nailed the game-winning shot as time expired.

[player_tooltip player_id="929231" first="Kobe" last="Johnson"] -- Nicolet -- PG -- 2021

Johnson has been playing his best basketball lately. After scoring 36 points against Brookfield Central in a loss, the point guard returned and scored 31 points on Friday but this time he led Nicolet to a win. The versatile point guard is set up to have a terrific college basketball career at USC.

[player_tooltip player_id="880014" first="Joe" last="Reuter"] -- Chippewa Falls -- SG -- 2021

Reuter has made a name for himself this season. The shooting guard is a great shot-maker that can find very creative ways to score. On Thursday, the Chippewa Falls star scored 44 points in a close win over Tomah. At Hillsdale, I expect Reuter to become a really great player.

[player_tooltip player_id="727964" first="Jack" last="Rose"] -- Westosha Central -- SG -- 2022

Rose is a player that I think could be a star at the college level. The talented shooting guard is a very good shooter, slasher, and defender. On Friday, the Westosha Central standout was one point shy of tying his season-high in points in a win over Elkhorn.

[player_tooltip player_id="701998" first="Donald" last="McHenry"] -- Milwaukee Academy of Science -- PG -- 2021

To say that I have been impressed with McHenry’s senior season so far would be a huge understatement. I thought that he looked really good this past AAU season, and now in the winter, McHenry has taken his game to another level. The Milwaukee Academy of Science point guard scored a career-high 54 points on 22-29 shooting on Friday in a win.

[player_tooltip player_id="879998" first="Brennan" last="Timm"] -- SJNMA -- PF -- 2021

I still don’t think that Timm gets enough credit for how good and consistent he is. The SJNMA power forward can rebound, shoot, defend, and score the ball really well around the rim. Timm had a great week, as he scored 70 points in three games for his squad. College coaches need to keep an eye on this prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="953945" first="Mac" last="Wrecke"] -- Arrowhead -- SG -- 2023

Watching Wrecke make the jump from role player to a star player for Arrowhead has been fun. He was a really good player as a freshman, but now he has become the number one option for the Warhawks. In a hard-fought win over Mukwonago, the shooting guard scored a career-high 40 points. Wrecke is a player that -- if he keeps getting better -- will make a huge splash in the recruiting scene.
