Three Kings Crowned: Wings

<p>Read about the stellar wings from three District Tournament Championship Games.</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Games Covered</span></strong></p> <p>Franklin (59) - Ravenwood (53)</p> <p>Cane Ridge (40) - Hillsboro (37)</p> <p>Northeast (59) - Rossview (56)</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="787649" first="Brandon" last="Miller"] (Cane Ridge) -</strong> Earned Tournament MVP.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="775595" first="Caleb" last="Wilson"] (Cane Ridge) -</strong> He showed excellent speed and smoothness out on the break.  Wilson is one of the best Robin’s in the state, with [player_tooltip player_id="787649" first="Brandon" last="Miller"] the obvious Batman. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="983700" first="Marcus" last="Averhart"] (Northeast) - </strong>The fourth quarter was tight.  The whole game was tight!  For Marcus to remain outwardly calm and make challenging shots in that massive fourth showed seniority and leadership.  He didn’t play outside of himself, but Averhart is still an elite defender and excellent scorer at the high school level. Averhart even played special defense on the inbounds and forced [player_tooltip player_id="1119843" first="Bryant" last="Rippy"] into a 5-second call with around 90 seconds left in the game. The previous possession Averhart deflected a simple perimeter pass skyward. The end-result was an extra Eagle possession.  Averhart is not a loud player, but his actions are dramatic and descisive. </p> <p><strong>Lee Mollette III (Ravenwood)</strong> - Mollette III took on the thankless task of checking Franklin guards [player_tooltip player_id="775559" first="Reed" last="Kemp"] at times, and Davis Long.
