Which eight prospects should you keep an eye on in the D2 bracket?

[player_tooltip player_id="761417" first="Danilo" last="Jovanovich"] -- PF -- Whitnall -- 2022

Jovanovich is poised for many special things in his basketball career. The talented power forward is a very versatile prospect that can put stress on an opposing team in different ways. He can score in the paint, hit outside jumpers, and finish through contact at the rim.

Nacir Beamon -- SG -- Martin Luther -- 2024

I have a feeling that Beamon will make a name for himself in these playoffs. The shooting guard has had a phenomenal freshman season so far, and I expect him to get even better in this tournament. If Martin Luther is going to make a run, look for Beamon to be a huge part of his team’s success.

[player_tooltip player_id="701965" first="Cade" last="Meyer"] -- PF -- Monroe -- 2021

At UW-Green Bay, Meyer is going to develop into a really, really good player. The power forward is a physically strong prospect that can use his athletic ability to dominate in the paint. Through 14 games, Meyer is scoring 20.6 points per game. This PF is going to be a tough matchup for opposing teams in the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id="953944" first="Milan" last="Momcilovic"] -- PF -- Pewaukee -- 2023

Entering this season, I was really looking forward to seeing if Momcilovic could live up to the hype. He has had some ups and downs in his sophomore season, but for the most part, he has displayed his potential. Pewaukee will play their first playoff game on Friday, February 19th. I expect Momcilovic to become an all-time great at Pewaukee.

[player_tooltip player_id="804902" first="Jayden" last="Jackson"] -- SG -- Whitefish Bay -- 2021

Jackson has become one of the most consistent players in the state. He might not be scoring the ball great every game, however, when the SG steps on the court, you know what type of effort he is going to give. Because Whitefish Bay has Jackson, they will be a very tough out in the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id="951467" first="Prentice" last="Young"] -- SG -- Wisconsin Lutheran -- 2023

Young is going to be known as one of the best prospects in the state when it is all said and done. He is a talented scorer that can make special things happen when he has the ball in his hands. He still has a long way to go in his development, but right now, he is still a handful.

[player_tooltip player_id="804917" first="Mark" last="Wade"] -- PG -- Brown Deer -- 2021

Wade might be the biggest sleeper in Wisconsin’s 2021 class. The Brown Deer point guard has a pure jumper and is always looking to put up points. In these playoffs, I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a big-time scoring game.

[player_tooltip player_id="879995" first="Brock" last="Heffner"] -- PF -- Grafton -- 2021

Heffner is an amazing prospect that probably doesn’t get enough credit for how great he is. The power forward is a very good rebounder, scorer in the paint, and rim protector. Heffner has put Grafton in a great position heading into the playoffs.
