Alabama basketball is loaded with so much talent. It’s only right that I continue to shed more light on prospects that I feel will take their game to another level season. I have watched these players closely this season, and I can’t wait to see the continued progression.

Here is the list of players in no particular order.

Kolby Horace, 6’1 SG/PG, Spanish Fort C/O 2022: This kid is truly phenomenal, and I have enjoyed watching him play this season. He’s definitely a player that everyone should take notice of. He Is an all-around player that can give you anything! Great shooter with a deadly 3pt shot! He has led his team in points, assists, steals and rebounds in numerous games this season. Horace is Very intimidating on the defensive end, and I feel that he will have a successful senior year!

[player_tooltip player_id="802665" first="Jayden" last="Buckley"], 6’1 PG/SG, Auburn C/O 2022: Buckley came off the bench this year averaging around 10 pts a game and also notched a great number of assists. He has a nice pull-up jumper, Plays well on-ball defense, Unstoppable in attacking the basket. He Looks to get others involved in the offense and Makes great decisions with the ball, Crashes the board, and can Handles pressure very well. He plays at his own pace, doesn’t force anything on the offensive end. Auburn will lose some key players next year, and I believe Buckley is ready to become the main guy.

Brady Dunn, 6’2 SG, Oak Mountain C/O 2022: When a player has to guard Dunn, they may need to just keep a hand up at all times. This kid will shoot your eyes out with his quick release from the three. He has a nice drive and kick and looks for the best shot. He is not a player that sits and waits for the shot; he gets in the paint to battle for the rebound and plays aggressive defense. Dunn is a player who understands the fundamentals of the game and can take his game to a high-level next season.

Jaquarius Sword, 6’6 SF, Huffman C/O 2022: Sword is just about everything a coach can ask for out of a forward. He plays with outstanding hustle, is a great shot blocker. The best quality about Sword is that he runs the floor, whether it’s for a chase-down block or an opportunity to score. He takes pride in his defense and will fight for the rebound. He is also a great finisher at the rim. If anything, I would challenge him to invest in the midrange shot, which would make him a threat outside the paint. Keep an eye on Sword.

[player_tooltip player_id="1091949" first="Ty" last="Davis"], 6’2 G, Mountain Brook C/O 2024: Davis is a player that came off the bench this season and caught my eye. He came on to the court and played with such high energy and was very poised. He plays with great control and can handle the pressure. This kid has solid handles and a nice jumper. Only being a freshman, You can tell that the coach has a tremendous trust to put him on the floor in high situations. Davis has the qualities to become a top player in the next coming seasons. I will be following this kid closely as his game continues to grow to the next level.
