<p>The NCHSAA season has produced some solid standout performers. Here’s a look at some standout 2022 prospects at the 1A level so far.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="577871" first="Avion" last="Pinner"] | 6’7 Forward | Riverside</h5>
<p>Pinner is off to a strong start to his junior campaign, putting up 24.3 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 2.8 apg, 2.7 spg and 2.3 bpg as the Knights are off to a 6-0 start to the 2020-21 season. He’s put together some solid numbers while also showing he can handle the ball, protect the rim, make plays for others and then some. Look for him to make a ton of noise when state playoffs arrive.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="848088" first="Sam" last="Cogan"] | 6’3 Guard | Lincoln Charter</h5>
<p>Cogan leads the way for Lincoln Charter in scoring and ranks second on the team in rebounds and assists per game as they’re off to an 8-0 start to the shortened season. He’s picked up where he left off a season ago, posting 19.6 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 4.3 apg and 3.0 spg in 2020-21. He’s an underrated do-it-all guard worth some attention in the class.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1082589" first="TJ" last="Ragland"] | 6’2 Point Guard | Henderson Collegiate</h5>
<p>Ragland has responded well to a bigger role in the Henderson Collegiate rotation in 2020-21 as a junior. He’s averaging 10.0 ppg, 3.3 apg, 2.5 rpg and 2.5 spg at the floor general spot. He’s finding his way as a three level threat and playmaker. As he adjusts to making an impact on both ends, he’s a point guard in this class with room to grow, especially as a scoring threat.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1124960" first="Otis" last="Coley"] | 6’0 Guard | Rosewood</h5>
<p>Coley is a new face turning heads this season at Rosewood. He’s filling up the stat sheet this season for 5-1 Rosewood in 2020-21, producing 15.0 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 4.0 apg,3.6 spg and 1.0 bpg in his junior campaign. He’s a long, wiry guard that gets after it on both ends with his ability to defend and create off the bounce. He’s a very active defender that’s off to a strong start on both ends.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1085520" first="Caden" last="Fitzgibbons"] | 6’1 Guard | Mount Airy</h5>
<p>Fitzgibbons is a combo guard prospect at Mount Airy High School that’s averaging 11.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.6 apg and 2.0 spg as they’ve won four-straight games. He’s quite the scorer but also an underrated rebounder, especially on the offensive end. 20 of his 37 total rebounds on the season have come on the offensive glass. He’s got a nice skillset operating with and without the ball in his hands.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1085521" first="Brooks" last="Sizemore"] | 5’10 Shooting Guard | Mount Airy</h5>
<p>Sizemore is an emerging sharpshooter in the 2022 class that’s also at Mount Airy High School. He is posting 11.4 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.0 spg and 1.6 apg on the wing this season for the Granite Bears. He’s made a total of 15 3-pointers through the Granite Bears’ first seven games of his junior season. He’s a sharpshooter on the wing that can fill it up and is making 2.1 3-pointers per contest in 2020-21. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1124984" first="Brycen" last="Manns"] | 6’6 Forward | Langtree Charter Academy</h5>
<p>Manns is a forward prospect with some raw tools at Langtree Charter Academy. He’s posted 6.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 2.3 bpg in the frontcourt for them as they’re a young squad that’s building around some new faces in their rotation. Manns can protect the rim and be an effective presence around the rim when he’s locked in and engaged. </p>
