What five games should you keep an eye on tonight in South Dakota? A big rematch, a conference tournament showdown, Class B’s top game, and an under the radar Class AA contest.

(#1) SF Washington at (#7) SF Roosevelt – The Game of the Night

The two teams played a classic in December a week before the Christmas holiday. The offensive balance of Washington won out 63-62 and has thrust the Warriors into the top spot in Class AA. Roosevelt entered the year at number one and will look to earn a measure of revenge in the team’s second meeting. The prospect match-up of guards [player_tooltip player_id="734065" first="Eli" last="Williams"] and [player_tooltip player_id="757825" first="Tyler" last="Feldkamp"] is one of many to keep an eye on. Williams did a great job on D the previous contest.

Prospect Match-Up: 6’1 [player_tooltip player_id="734065" first="Eli" last="Williams"] of (SFW) vs 6’0 [player_tooltip player_id="757825" first="Tyler" last="Feldkamp"] (SFR)

(NR) Parker at (#3) Sioux Valley – Conference Play Headliner

The semi-finals of the Big East Conference Tournament with undefeated Sioux Valley hosting 1-loss Parker in the 1 vs 4 game of the seeded league tournament. Junior guard Carter Robertson and the Pheasants hope to pull the upset. On another note, how did [player_tooltip player_id="975509" first="Kelton" last="Vincent"] respond to his national highlight game winner? With ten points, nine assists, and six steals in a win over Beresford last night.

Prospect Match-Up: 6’2 David Fuller (P) vs 6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="968190" first="Parker" last="Puetz"] (SV)

(#1) De Smet at Arlington – Class B Spotlighted Game

The Bulldogs come at teams with the heavy depth of offensive firepower. [player_tooltip player_id="812196" first="Kalen" last="Garry"] is the statewide known name and [player_tooltip player_id="975576" first="Ethan" last="McCune"] isn’t far behind. Add in [player_tooltip player_id="963766" first="Damon" last="Wilkinson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="812211" first="Rett" last="Osthus"] and you have a potent bunch. Arlington looks to stay even with the Dakota Valley top dog and so far they are 3-1. They face a tough task this evening.

Prospect Match-Up: 6’0 Ryker Ersrad (A) vs 6’0 [player_tooltip player_id="812211" first="Rett" last="Osthus"]

(#6) RC Central at (#9) Aberdeen Central – Under the Radar Game of the Night

One loss Central makes the big trip to take on undefeated Central. This will be Central’s toughest test of the season (faced and handily defeated four teams that have combined to win three games). A great opportunity for the talented [player_tooltip player_id="757858" first="Micah" last="Swallow"] to show what he can do versus the quality Eagle juniors (they have 14 of them on their V/JV roster!)

Prospect Match-Up: 6’3 Wing [player_tooltip player_id="757858" first="Micah" last="Swallow"] (RCC) vs 6’4 Wing Sam Rohlfs

(NR) SF Lincoln at (#5) Yankton – Tracking Mr. Mors.

We want to make sure to point out again, this is your final season to see [player_tooltip player_id="732175" first="Matthew" last="Mors"] play basketball so get to the gym or watch online if you can, he is one of the best players in the history of South Dakota high school basketball. Yankton is on a four game winning streak with three of those wins coming versus out of state teams. Lincoln was just crushed by Washington but they have upset Brandon Valley this year so be aware.

Prospect Match-Up: 6’7 Sr [player_tooltip player_id="732175" first="Matthew" last="Mors"] (Y) vs 6’6 Sr Alex Tong (SFL)
