<p>The season finally kicked off last night. Here’s a look at some of the best stat lines from Monday.</p>
<p>Owensboro Catholic ran Evangel Christian out of the Sportscenter with an 82-41 win. Senior <strong>Gray Weaver </strong>put on a scoring display with 25 points on 8/14 shooting. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="801607" first="Brian" last="Griffith"]</strong> added 22 and shot 3/5 from 3 for the game.</p>
<p>Newcomer <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957680" first="George" last="Washington"]</strong> at CAL had 23 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks and 5 assists in a big win. Senior <strong>Stephen Wearsch</strong> added 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists.</p>
<p>Knott County Central Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923015" first="Josh" last="McGuire"]</strong> went for 20 points, 20 rebounds and 6 blocks in a win over Hazard in the All A regional.</p>
<p>The most impressive line of the night has to go to <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="932765" first="Reed" last="Sheppard"]</strong> of North Laurel. He finished with 37 points, 14 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals in a huge win over Pikeville. </p>
<p>Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923016" first="Cory" last="Vanhoose"]</strong> had a huge opener for Johnson Central as they beat Raceland. Cory had 30 points, 5 steals, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="922991" first="Scotty" last="Draud"]</strong> of Beechwood up up 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in a season opening win. </p>
<p>Augusta Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="801623" first="Kason" last="Hinson"]</strong> had 22 points and 6 rebounds while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939382" first="Blake" last="Reed"]</strong> had 23 as Hinson and Augusta knocked off Bracken County.</p>
<p>Elizabethtown beat DeSales behind 4 double figure scorers. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923019" first="Camden" last="Williams"] (17), Kam Sherrard (17), [player_tooltip player_id="923069" first="Alandre" last="Murphy"] (14) and Khia Sherrard (12)</strong> helped the Panthers to the win. DeSales was led by Seniors <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1032006" first="Devin" last="Perry"] and [player_tooltip player_id="922992" first="Sekou" last="Kalle"]</strong> with 44 points combined.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="692930" first="Jerone" last="Morton"], [player_tooltip player_id="923008" first="Jared" last="Wellman"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1108411" first="Trent" last="Edwards"]</strong> combined for 63 points in a 61 point win GRC over Paris.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="926900" first="Robby" last="Todd"] </strong>had 20 points and 8 rebounds in his first action for Rowan County while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="793786" first="Mason" last="Moore"]</strong> added 18 points and 12 rebounds.</p>
<p>Webster County Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="923030" first="Destin" last="Allen"]</strong> scored 32 and pulled down 12 rebounds for Webster County while <strong>Jabrion Spikes</strong> scored 20 for Caldwell as Webster won.</p>
