<p class="p2"><span class="s2"><i>Friday was another outstanding night of high school hoops across the state! Let’s take a quick look at a few players that had outstanding showings</i>.</span></p>
<p class="p2"><span class="s2">Farmville Central Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="574409" first="Terquavion" last="Smith"]</b> started the year off with a bang, leading his squad to a win with a game high of 26 Points. Smith plays with a high level of intensity every time he steps on the floor and will be a player that NC State fans will love. The Jags won’t have much time to celebrate though as South Granville led by Mr. Pettiford will be in town today. </span></p>
<p class="p2"><span class="s2">One of the more underrated players in the state is Washington HS Unsigned Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="574470" first="Omarion" last="Blount"]</b>, who has shown to be a legit college prospect that D2 programs should be watching. In their opening season game against North Lenior he led the way for his team with 21 Points, showcasing his ability to put the ball in the bucket in numerous ways. </span></p>
<p class="p2"><span class="s2">It’s been a nice start to the season for Wilmington Christian Academy Senior <b>Gregory Bowden</b> and he continued his stellar play on Friday night with a 36 Point/20 Rebound performance against BBA. He’s strong, athletic and doesn’t allow himself to be outworked by anyone. </span></p>
<p class="p2"><span class="s2">Goldsboro HS Senior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="574448" first="Xavion" last="Atkinson"]</b> is another player that is considered pretty underrated around the state but just about every time we see him, he plays at a high level. Last night against Midway he went for 35 Points, dominating on the offensive side of the ball and showcasing why he’s a legit college prospect. </span></p>
<p class="p2"><span class="s2">College coaches ! If you don’t have his name on your watchlist, you’re missing out! Princeton HS Senior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="838059" first="Jaheim" last="Taylor"]</b> is a solid overall player and prospect and is averaging 23 PPG so far this season going for 20 Points/5 Rebounds last night. He used his defensive ability to come up with steals that allowed him to get out into transition for some easy buckets. </span></p>
