As we are hopeful for an AIA season to start now in mid-January, we look at some of the top players in every conference.

We look at more PF/C’s in 5A.

Here are some sleeper PF/C’s that will impact their team:

[player_tooltip player_id="1067129" first="Derek" last="Sult"] (Campo Verde) (Pictured)

-A quickly growing forward will have a breakout year for the Coyotes. He uses his strength inside to score but has real post moves with advanced footwork and comes with a motor. He blocks shots and rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="1066475" first="Joseph" last="Davis"] (Agua Fria)

-Another big who rapidly grew recently. He moves well up the court and will protect the paint plus score it from elbow and in. He will be very critical for the Owls success.

[player_tooltip player_id="1108266" first="Connor" last="Benson"] (Cactus Shadows)

-A true face-up post player can fire away from the 3pt line. He has a thicker frame and is a consistent perimeter shooter plus can score it some inside. He is the lone big for the Falcons and will need to step up for a deep playoff run.

[player_tooltip player_id="1067373" first="Jediah" last="Jones"] (Higley)

-A rim runner from Chicago will give the Knights some interior post defensive presence. He will block shots and rebound the ball. Another important player with a team with little size.

[player_tooltip player_id="706698" first="Reed" last="Shuey"] (Gilbert)

-One of the stronger junior post players will be asked to step up this season without [player_tooltip player_id="804778" first="Griffin" last="Lamb"]. Plus [player_tooltip player_id="827030" first="Trent" last="Moser"] has stepped away from the sport to focus on volleyball. Shuey will use his physicality to score it inside plus rebound. He has made small strides each season and grew 1-2 inches.

[player_tooltip player_id="814520" first="Isaac" last="Hymes"] (Millennium)

-One of the more talented soph forwards in the AIA will get his chance to shine the second half of the season. He can score it from inside and out and rip through plus block shots out of area and rebound. He may already lead the team in scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id="814511" first="Cristian" last="Depue"] (Centennial)

-The upside forward will get his first crack of some real minutes on varsity. He looked better this off season and will give the Coyotes some much needed size. He can score it some inside plus hit the 3. They will need his height and length to rebound the ball and block some shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="827023" first="Tobi" last="Balogun"] (Agua Fria)

-A physical forward who will rebound the ball at a high rate. He can run the court like a wing and will finish around the rim. Him and [player_tooltip player_id="1066475" first="Joseph" last="Davis"] pose a nice physical threat up front for the Owls.
