Over the last year, I have been diligently building my own video library, providing the opportunity for me to break players down in even more detail. While I’m not always a huge fan of highlights, in this crazy year, players need all the exposure they can get. In this article we breakdown some mixtapes.
Prospect: Tavionte Jackson Tavionte Jackson 6'1" | PG Las Vegas | 2022 NV (featured image)
HS: Las Vegas
Club: Nevada Hard 2 Guard
Height/Position: 6’1– Point Guard
Analysis: One of the most elite handles in his class. Jackson’s blow-by ability jumps off the film. He can get to the rim both efficiently and with flash. It’s his decision making after he beats his man that makes him a legit D1 PG prospect. Jackson understands how to draw two and delivers pinpoint passes to set up teammates.

Prospect: Sebastian Mack Sebastian Mack 6'4" | CG Coronado | 2023 State #58 Nation NV
HS: Durango
Club: Vegas Elite
Height/Position: 6’1 – Combo Guard
Analysis: Wired to score. Mack is one of the most underrated finishers in his class. He’s a combo out of necessity, however, because what he wants to do is score the basketball. Mack makes shots from all angles, and I believe his film does a great job of showing that. Watch him make shots off reloads, pump fakes, and side steps. Mack is quickly rising and has turned himself into a coveted prospect in the class of 2023.

Prospect: Azavier Johnson Azavier Johnson 6'4" | CG Faith Lutheran | 2021 State NV
HS: Faith Lutheran
Club: Simply Fundamental
Height/Position: 6’4 – Combo Guard
Analysis: Johnson is a unique prospect because of his size and skill. He’s the opposite of Mack where he’s more of a combo because of his playmaking ability. Johnson can be effective as an oversized PG or as a playmaking 2. He dominates smaller guards with his post-game, and can force wing defenders to chase him around screens.

Prospect: Milos Uzan Milos Uzan 6'4" | PG Dream City Christian | 2022 State #60 Nation AZ
HS: Desert Pines
Club: Dream Vision
Height/Position: 6’3 – Point Guard
Analysis: It only makes sense that Uzan suites up for Dream Vision in the summer, because if there’s one word that describes him, it’s vision. He sees the entire floor and has the confidence and the skill to hit players on time and on target. I’ve been screaming the fact that he is an underrated shooter for a while, and the film validates my point. Like Jackson, Uzan also has elite blow-by ability

Prospect: Joshua Jefferson Joshua Jefferson 6'8" | PF Liberty | 2022 State #158 Nation NV
HS: Liberty
Club: Dream Vision
Height/Position: 6’6 – Power Forward
Analysis: What I love about this film is that Jefferson showed an addition to his game. Already regarded as a fundamental big, at the Elite 100 camp, he showed off improved athletic ability and skill. Jefferson is a big-time rebounder that has strong hands and uses fundamentals to carve out space for boards.
