With the season not starting until January (at the earliest) there are plenty of Kentucky Seniors still looking for a home at the next level. Here’s a look at some of Kentucky’s best unsigned small forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id="530673" first="DeAjuan" last="Stepp"], West Jessamine - Stepp has an announced offer from Lindsey Wilson but is likely a low to mid D1 caliber of player. Last season he carried West Jess to a regional title and was likely the MVP of the 12th region. Heading into his Senior season, Dee is capable of making a push towards Mr. Basketball honors if he plays up to his potential.

[player_tooltip player_id="922991" first="Scotty" last="Draud"], Beechwood - Draud is on a path to score close to 3,000 points in his career and end his career as the leading scorer in school history. He has great size at 6'7 and a high basketball IQ that helps him make good passes with the ball in his hands or work to get open off the ball. Scotty has a chance to be the best basketball player to ever come out of Beechwood.

[player_tooltip player_id="923000" first="Sam" last="Conley"], Spencer County - An athletic scorer, Conley is at his best when he's attacking the rim off the bounce. Sam can shoot well but thrives as a slasher. A better athlete than he probably gets credit for, the 6'4 Conley has a couple of offers already and can be an impact player at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="923008" first="Jared" last="Wellman"], George Rogers Clark - Wellman is a good shooter and an excellent rebounder for his size. Jared is not afraid to do the dirty work or whatever is necessary for his team to get a win. GRC won the 10th region last season and are the favorites to repeat in 2021. Wellman is a well rounded player and a better defender than he's given credit for.

[player_tooltip player_id="923009" first="Trace" last="Flanary"], Bowling Green - Trace gets overshadowed on a loaded Bowling Green roster but can be a glue guy for the Purples on their quest for the 2021 state title. A good rebounder and defender, Flanary is at his best on offense if he's attacking the rim, especially in transition. It remains to be seen how big of a role Trace will play for Bowling Green but he's a legitimate D2/NAIA/D3 level recruit who can play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="700979" first="Kole" last="Brown"], Madison Central - Brown hasn't played a ton of AAU over the years due to his baseball season but he is a hidden gem in the 11th region. Kole got his time to shine last year for the Indians and didn't disappoint. He's got good size and is a very athletic wing who can shoot the ball really well. Some small school could get a steal with Brown in the Spring signing period.
