Johnsonville HS vs St James HS

<p>The Class 1A Golden Flashes from Johnsonville HS struck twice in a matter of a week. The 1A Golden Flashes went on the road and defeated the St James HS Sharks at the Shark Tank this week in overtime 53-43. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1088707" first="Travis" last="Wilson"]</strong> (2024) and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="1016450" first="Jasaan" last="Faulkner"]</strong> (2024) both freshmen saw extensive playing time this evening. Both players started the game and made good contributions. Wilson a undersized post player really excelled on the football field this season for the Golden Flashes. Wilson plays the game with some toughness and does all his work down in the paint. Faulkner really defends on the ball and doesn’t seemed to get rattled on the floor for his age. Lewis was not perfect tonight by any means and made some mistakes but his team came out with the victory. Lewis finished the game with 16 points and logged 36 minutes of action. Avant is complete hustle and plays aggressive. Avant needs time to set his feet from downtown. Haire a off guard finished the game with 13 points while Ortiz-Robles dropped 12 points before fouling out at the 3:50 mark of the overtime. </p>
