The Film Room series for the Class of 2022 is here. If you haven’t be sure to drop the @PrepHoopsNC account a line on Twitter with your film. Here’s a look at Part I.

[player_tooltip player_id="1103265" first="Cannon" last="Keziah"] | 6’1 Shooting Guard | Topsail

[player_tooltip player_id="1103265" first="Cannon" last="Keziah"] is a shooting that’s a familiar face from BigShots event over the past few seasons. He’s a prospect that’s constantly moving without the ball and is a lights out sharpshooter as a result. He’s got the ability to knock down shots on all three levels and does well to find teammates for open shots as well. He’s an up-and-coming junior that college coaches will want to get eyes on.

[player_tooltip player_id="1057406" first="Chance" last="Morrow"] | 6’6 Wing/Guard | West Charlotte

The first word that comes to mind when watching [player_tooltip player_id="1057406" first="Chance" last="Morrow"] on film: Electric. He’s a wiry 6-foot-6 guard that flies around the court on both ends and makes things happen. He’ll be a key piece in West Charlotte’s rotation given his ability to block shots and attack the rim. He also can knock down shots off the catch on the perimeter making him quite the 2022 prospect with stock rising potential.

[player_tooltip player_id="1008880" first="Jayquan" last="Curry"] | 5’10 Guard | Wayne Christian

[player_tooltip player_id="1008880" first="Jayquan" last="Curry"] was one of the top scorers in the class of 2022 this past season. He put up 55 points in a game this past season, showing off his ability to force turnovers and get easy buckets on the break. He plays with a relentless motor on both ends with a winning attitude. In the halfcourt, he’s got sharp handles and tons of speed that allow him to get past defenders and make plays in the paint. He’s a young guard that would be a steal for any college that takes a chance on him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1006166" first="Patrick" last="Malott"] | 6’1 Guard | Apex

[player_tooltip player_id="1006166" first="Patrick" last="Malott"] is due for a breakout season at Apex High after getting some experience under his belt with No Guts No Glory on the grassroots scene. He’s a combo guard that can finish in the paint and knock down shots off the catch. He’s got a nice feel for where to be at all times and does well to space the floor for himself and others to make things happen, especially on offense. Defensively, he’s got good instincts to pressure the ball and make his presence felt as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1103266" first="Alex" last="Fusi"] | 5’11 Guard | Wake Young Men’s Leadership Academy

[player_tooltip player_id="1103266" first="Alex" last="Fusi"] has nice form and instincts in the halfcourt. He knows when to push the pace and find teammates in open space to easy scores. He knows how to break down defenders and create off the bounce as well. He’s a fundamentally sound prospect that does the little things to get positive results.

[player_tooltip player_id="1103267" first="Brayden" last="Ring"] | 5’10 Guard | East Surry

[player_tooltip player_id="1103267" first="Brayden" last="Ring"] is another sharpshooter that’s turned heads in the past at BigShots events. He’s a lights out shooter off the catch and off the bounce then makes things even tougher on opponents when he uses his quickness to put the ball on the floor. He’s got a nice feel for creating in traffic and making plays. Defensively, he’s solid at finding the ball and creating turnovers as well.
