Firth was able to pull away toward the end of the third and never looked back during the fourth quarter on their way to an easy victory. The Cougars were led by Taedyn Jacobsen contributing 16 points and a methodical approach to sealing the victory. On the opposing side, the Tigers were led by 6’8″ Cory Rowbury pouring in 16 points in the losing effort.
St. Maries vs. Bonners Ferry: The St. Maries Lumberjacks faced the Bonners Ferry Badgers and the men with axes or chainsaws were able to defeat the lowly animals by nearly 30 points. St. Maries showed why they are one of the top teams in the state in their classification and executed an excellent game plan with a balanced offensive attack. The Lumberjacks were led in scoring by Tristan Gentry-Nelson Tristan Gentry-Nelson 6'5" | C St. Maries | 2022 State ID contributing 18 points and Colby Renner putting up 16 points for St. Maries.
