This past season was a big time year for the 2A division in East NC. Farmville Central defended their state title and played against nationally ranked programs. Three players from ENC 2A have already signed with ACC programs ([player_tooltip player_id="533510" first="Dontrez" last="Styles"], [player_tooltip player_id="574409" first="Terquavion" last="Smith"] & [player_tooltip player_id="838016" first="Bobby" last="Pettiford"]) so we would like to take this opportunity to look at some more players who are unsigned in 2A but should have big time seasons.

Kinston HS Junior Wing [player_tooltip player_id="577842" first="Jeremy" last="Dixon"] has been a name that college coaches have added to their watchlist over the past year. The 6’6 Wing has a nice overall skillset and is an impressive player when he’s aggressive. This season his squad will need him to be aggressive and efficient on a nightly basis.

College coaches will want to go ahead and put St. Pauls HS Junior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="1032850" first="Jeyvian" last="Tatum"] on their watchlist without a doubt ! Tatum showed flashes of how good he can be last season and more recently he matched up with some D1 talent in the 9 Dime Fall League and played very well. His toughness and scoring ability are two of the attributes that you have to like about him.

Goldsboro HS 6’4 Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="574448" first="Xavion" last="Atkinson"] is another prospect that is under the radar but is playing his way into more college interest. He can score the ball on multiple levels, doesn’t back down from any challenge and can be just as good on the defensive side of the ball as he is on offense.

One of the best kept secrets in the entire state, Hertford County Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="932146" first="Daylan" last="Askew"] is a bucket getter that college coaches should be on!
