<p>In preparation for the anticipated season, we’ve been releasing comprehensive preview content covering the area in and around DMV. 8 sophomore breakout candidates are identified below.</p>

<p>Adnan showcased flashes of brilliance during his promising freshman season. He will probably see consistent minutes moving forward and should only continue to improve as he gains experience. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1049866" first="Jovani" last="Galarza"]</strong></p>
<p>One of the top breakout performers of the fall, Galarza will likely be an immediate difference-maker at Avalon. His toughness is a staple of his game and that usually translates into productivity. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957036" first="Marcel" last="Gardner"]</strong></p>
<p>Gardner has been a key rotation player at St. Andrew's since day one because he can be a disruptive inside presence. His influence on the team should only grow as his overall game continues to develop.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902098" first="Greg" last="Jones"]</strong></p>
<p>Jones deserves plaudits for the effort he displayed each time he hit the court this fall. He exhibits all the intangibles that coaches look for in a successful player. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957057" first="Justin" last="Scott"]</strong></p>
<p>Scott has the physical tools to be an impact player in the IAC down the road. He's one of a few intriguing young prospects coming through the ranks at St. Albans. </p>
<p><strong>Wyatt Trundle</strong></p>
<p>Trundle is a knockdown shooter with a broad frame that he uses well to establish inside position and collect rebounds. He'll have a good chance to make noise for an intriguing George Mason team.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="999626" first="Khalil" last="Williams"]</strong></p>
<p>Williams is oozing with confidence after impressing at various events this fall. The tall lefty guard, who is establishing a reputation as a potent scoring threat, appears poised for a strong sophomore campaign. </p>
