Lawrence has battled injuries throughout his high school career, but when he's healthy, he's one of the best defensive players in the state. A bulldog with his on-ball defense, he'll also have a chance to showcase his offensive skill set this year following a number of key graduations from Camanche's roster. He averaged 8.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists last year, but those numbers may all double this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="964806" first="Ben" last="Loverude"] (Des Moines Christian, 2021)

A stretch-four with a feathery stroke from the arc, Loverude averaged 11.4 points a game last year for the Lions while shooting 39% from 3. With his size at 6-6, and his ability to stretch the floor, he's a matchup problem.

[player_tooltip player_id="796135" first="Bryce" last="Phelps"] (Denver, 2021)

A stat-sheet stuffing lead guard, Phelps averaged 15.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.4 steals a game last year for the Cyclones, who should be a top-10 team in 2A this season.

Katzfey was a standout at our Top 250 Expo in October, and is primed to have a massive junior season for the Indians. A versatile scorer with good athleticism, he averaged 16.2 points and 5.1 rebounds with 56-45-73 shooting splits last year.

[player_tooltip player_id="796188" first="Creighton" last="Moricsh"] (Spirit Lake, 2021)

Katzfey's teammate has outstanding size at 6-7, and he's a solid shooter as well, knocking down 40.3% of his 3-point attempts last season. Moricsh averaged 15.7 points and 7.0 rebounds a game.

[player_tooltip player_id="682280" first="Lucas" last="Lorenzen"] (Okoboji, 2022)

Lorenzen is a walking double-double who put up 22.5 points and 12.0 rebounds a game last year as a sophomore. He's a good athlete with a big, strong frame that he uses to score at a high clip around the bucket, and he can stretch the floor to the tune of 43.8% from the arc last year.

[player_tooltip player_id="962600" first="Caleb" last="Holmes"] (Hinton, 2022)

Holmes became a popular name around the state late last year when he hit a game-winner against an undefeated West Sioux team. The dynamic scoring wing averaged 21.7 points a game as a sophomore, and is a threat to score 30+ on any given night.

[player_tooltip player_id="682271" first="Aaron" last="Graves"] (Southeast Valley, 2022)

Graves is going to play defensive end for Kirk Ferentz at Iowa, but he's a solid hooper as well. He averaged 15.8 points and 7.0 rebounds a game as a sophomore, showing a quality stroke from deep to go with his size and physicality inside the paint.
