<p>Prep Hoops took in some more action from the 40th Annual Beach Ball Classic yesterday. Today we focused on a few games over at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center in the consolation bracket we able to watch. </p>
<p><strong>North Myrtle Beach HS 46 Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC) 39 </strong></p>
<p>The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes took a 28-16 lead heading into the halftime break. The Hurricanes outscored the Chiefs 17-2 in the second quarter. The Chiefs turned the tables in the 2nd half by outscoring the Hurricanes 30-11 to win the game. The Chiefs move to (2-2) on the season while the Hurricanes fall to (5-2). </p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1052271" first="<strong>Cameron" last="Henley</strong>"] finished with 8 points after leaving the court at the 4:23 mark when the game was at tied at 35-35. </p>

<p>The Panthers led from start to finish in this game with the Braves. The Panthers led 51-29 at the halftime break and cruised to a easy victory over the Class 3A Braves. The Panthers move to (5-2) on the season while the Braves fall to (2-4) on the year. </p>

<p>The Landsharks defeated the Aviators in this Beach Ball Classic Winter Jam game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1107730" first="Makhi" last="Rivers"]</strong> led the way with 15 points for the Landsharks. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1107731" first="Malachi" last="Stevens"]</strong> 6’1 guard added 12 points while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1107732" first="Reid" last="Warden"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1107733" first="Ben" last="Britton"]</strong> both chipped in with 10 points a piece. </p>
<p>The Aviators were led in scoring by left-handed forward Cameron Smalls with 16 points. Meric Kuntker had 11 points while point guard Malik Gibbs added 10 points. </p>
