AIA: 6A Top SF’s

<p>As we are hopeful for an AIA season to start now in mid-January, we look at some of the top players in every conference. </p> <p>We look at the 6A small forwards.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Here are some of the top ones that will impact their team:</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="703839" first="Elijah" last="Thomas"]<strong> (Valley Vista) </strong></p> <p>-The phrase," It's not where you start, it's how you finish," would sum up Thomas. He has slowly turned into one of the top AIA players in 6A. He scores it, defends multiple positions and sets the tone for the rising team in the West Side. He is a legit POY candidate and don't be surprised to see the Monsoon go deep into the playoffs. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="809678" first="Trenton" last="McLaughlin"] <strong>(Basha)  </strong></p> <p>-Arguably the steadiest performer in 6A. He is so reliable scoring the ball and shooting it from all levels. He will have the ultimate green light and he will cash in with 20+ points in each outing. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="932361" first="Ravion" last="Hodge"] <strong>(Cesar Chavez) </strong></p> <p>-Very under the radar playing behind some top players, but he will breakout this season. The long lefty is tough in transition and can score it from the perimeter. He can play and defend almost every position on the floor. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1011614" first="Garrett" last="Anderson"]<strong> (SDO)</strong></p> <p>-The high flyer has caught some bodies in the off season and the run and jump athlete has improved his all-around game to lead one of the sleeper teams in 6A.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="959682" first="Kaden" last="Kennedy"] <strong>(Desert Ridge)  </strong></p> <p>-Another sleeper team that not many talk about. They are arguably the most skilled starting-5 in the AIA with all 5 players who can shoot the 3 and Kennedy is a a big part of that. He will play inside and out. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="831117" first="Arman" last="Madi"] <strong>(Brophy Prep) (Pictured)</strong></p> <p>-Not many more naturally gifted then Madi. He can do it all from passing to scoring from all levels and defending. He showed us flashes last year on JV and a little on varsity and will be asked to bring it on varsity this season.  </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="996169" first="Cori" last="James"] <strong>(South)</strong></p> <p>-The incoming freshman has the strength and body to contribute immediately. He is a day-one starter per coach and will bring his physicality, scoring and toughness to an already talented team. </p>
