As we are hopeful for an AIA season to start now in mid-January, we look at some of the top players in every conference.

We start with the 6A bigs.

Here are some of the top ones that will impact their teams:

-The big man will carry his team many games with skill, strength and rebounding. He is one of the reasons they are one of the 6A favorites.

[player_tooltip player_id="701228" first="Dylan" last="Anderson"] (Perry)

-The highly skilled big will have a lot on his shoulders this year. This is a big year for him to see if he can carry his own team along with some other top Pumas. He has the size and shooting touch to achieve it.

[player_tooltip player_id="809687" first="Zereoue" last="Williams"] (Mountain Pointe)

-The Utah commit for football is very important for the Pride to play versus the bigger teams of Perry, Chandler, Sunnyslope and others. He has that football physicality and corrals all rebounds near him. He blocks shots in area and will be one of the better defenders in 6A.

[player_tooltip player_id="809683" first="Nicholas" last="Riley"] (Chandler)

-The big post had a big off season. He shined in every event he entered. He is very hard to move or stop once he gains position and will be the focal point of the Wolves this season. They will go as far as he can take them.

[player_tooltip player_id="701253" first="Damarion" last="Pouncil"] (South Mountain)

-One of the top shot blockers in 6A and the AIA will be key to the Jaguars success. He challenges all players near him and changes most of their shots to either block it or alter it. Offensively he will rim rum and grab offensive rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="703820" first="Grady" last="Lewis"] (Sunnyslope) (Pictured)

-A strong true power forward does a lot of dirty work inside but can also face-up from elbow and in. He will grab the tough rebounds in traffic and out muscle most post players for 50/50 balls.

[player_tooltip player_id="809709" first="Tanner" last="Crawford"] (Mesa)

-An athletic post forward will be a huge difference maker for the Jackrabbits. It has been awhile since they had a player who can provide that true inside outside punch with their always good guards.

[player_tooltip player_id="827031" first="Brady" last="Reynolds"] (Basha)

-A strong post player will be needed to produce for the Bears success. He has strong hands that catch anything with good post footwork. He is under the rim but understands how to use his strength and body to score plus rebound.

[player_tooltip player_id="827010" first="Tayan" last="Thompson"] (Desert Vista)

-A strong face-up 4-man will stretch the floor of the defense with his shooting and he can gobble up the rebounds near him.
