3 games to watch on the stream today include some dynamic prospects that ll have next level talent.

Game 1

Westlake vs. Timpanogos

This game is actually not on the schedule but it was put together last minutes because both of these teams opponets had to cancel. Timpanogos makes the trek to Westlake where we will have a legit 5A vs. 6A battle. Westlake has been one of the better teams that plays some tough defense. This will actually be a great pre-season test for Timpanogos.

Players to Watch:

Westlake

6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="933802" first="Hunter" last="Phillips"]

6’6 Keilan Torkonoo

6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="755630" first="Noah" last="McCord"]

Breakdown: Noa McCord is one of the best defenders in the state and there is a lot of pride that he takes in that. He is tough and plays the game with a lot of passion and energy. He is a player you never have to ask for effort. He will be fun to watch possible either cover Holcombe and Scott. When it comes to bigs [player_tooltip player_id="933802" first="Hunter" last="Phillips"] really knows how to set the tone. He is strong and physical on the blocks. Then you get this sleeper of the radar kid like Keilan Torkonoo who is just as physical but probably heavier and he can shoot the long ball.

Timpanogos

6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="755626" first="Jackson" last="Holcombe"]

6’3 Gavin Scott

6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="969630" first="Bron" last="Roberts"]

Breakdown: [player_tooltip player_id="755626" first="Jackson" last="Holcombe"] just gets better every game. The kid shoots it at a high percentage and he has play making ability. He can create his own shot and create for others. Gavin and company might get a lot of open opportunities with Holcombe attracting a lot of help. [player_tooltip player_id="969630" first="Bron" last="Roberts"] gets to go up against a veteran big that will post up on almost every play. This is a good young prospect that will need to rise to the occasion.

Game 2

Alta vs. Farmington

Players to Watch:

Alta

6’8 [player_tooltip player_id="755620" first="Jaden" last="Brownell"]

6’7 [player_tooltip player_id="967725" first="Jaxon" last="Heiden"]

6’2 [player_tooltip player_id="968776" first="Jett" last="Lundberg"]

Breakdown: [player_tooltip player_id="755620" first="Jaden" last="Brownell"] and company have fallen short in a few games. That hasn’t really stopped Jaden from playing well. Look for him to assert himself early. Jaxon return to play after being out a few games. He is healthy and will be a big reason Alta will have success moving forward. Jett could be that difference maker as he will have alot of opportunites to score on no help.

Players to Watch:

Farmington

6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"]

6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="933806" first="Truman" last="Hendry"]

6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="1042363" first="Caleb" last="Mordue"]

Breakdown: [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"] has been good as advertised. He is starting to move better without the ball which allows his teammates to really have openings. Caleb hs been a bright spot scoring inside and out. Overall Farmington has a lot of players that like to shoot. Truman has been tough down low but will have his hands full with two bigs that are tall, skilled and long.

Game 3

Davis vs. Bountiful

Players to Watch:

Bountiful

6’5 Robert Wahley

6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="543094" first="Henry" last="Smith"]

6’1 [player_tooltip player_id="543074" first="Austin" last="Cooper"]

Breakdow: Bountiful will need solid guard play and it will start with [player_tooltip player_id="543094" first="Henry" last="Smith"] as he will need to find ways to get open and hit that long ball. [player_tooltip player_id="543074" first="Austin" last="Cooper"] will need to create like he always does and drive and kick. If Whaley can get 1 on 1 coverage he will have his way.

Davis

6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"]

5’11 [player_tooltip player_id="968050" first="Colby" last="Simms"]

6’6 Henry Ihrig

Breakdown: Henry Ihrig will need to step up his game. He is capable of scoring a lot of points inside and out. He will also need to stay out of foul trouble. [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"] will have an opportunity to really score the ball as he could use his quickness to really get by defenders tonight. [player_tooltip player_id="968050" first="Colby" last="Simms"] is a solid PG that can control tempo but he can also shoot the ball well. Should be a good matchup.
