GRACE Christian/Trinity Academy Raleigh Scrimmage

Trinity Academy came out firing on all cylinders in a Friday night scrimmage against GRACE Christian School this past Friday. One name to remember this season: [player_tooltip player_id="944974" first="Jakwon" last="Moore"]. Moore was all over the place in making his presence felt with blocks, steals, dunks and made 3-pointers to show he’s set to make a strong impact on this Trinity Academy squad in 2020-21.

[player_tooltip player_id="838030" first="Keeyan" last="Itejere"] was impressive for GRACE Christian School as well showing his continued growth as their primary option. As he learns to attack under control and with an awareness of the whole floor, he’s a prospect set to make waves at the next level. He’s headed to the University of Texas after his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="992474" first="Mikey" last="Williams"] & Company Impress @ Big Shots Myrtle Beach

In the Big Shots Myrtle Beach Tip-Off, Lake Norman Christian went 2-0 following some impressive performances from [player_tooltip player_id="947287" first="Trey" last="Green"], [player_tooltip player_id="985568" first="Jonathan" last="Kurtas"], [player_tooltip player_id="1085644" first="JP" last="Haggarty"] and [player_tooltip player_id="992474" first="Mikey" last="Williams"]. He’s an emerging prospect in the 2023 class that continues to improve. Haggarty knocked six 3-pointers across their two wins. Kurtas was one of the best shot blockers in the event. There was rarely a moment where he got scored on, using his length in the paint to alter shots.
