Daquan Coleman
Grad Year: 2022
School: Bendle High School
Position: PG and SG
Strengths:
– Solid shooter – pretty pure jumper
– Can attack the basket off the dribble
– Can create space in a 1-on-1 matchup and make things happen for his team offensively
– Good ball handler – can handle under pressure which makes him valuable as either a primary or secondary ball handler
– Maximum effort on the defensive end
Areas For Improvement:
– Make ball handling a bigger strength – could be a big tool for him
– Athleticism
Biggest Moment In Basketball:
“My biggest moment in basketball so far was scoring 20 against Webberville in a game we needed and ended up winning 75-74.” – Daquan Coleman

“My ultimate goals are going to play basketball at a Division 1 college and also going pro after.” – Daquan Coleman

His recruitment is open. Coleman and his high school coaches have received tape requests from Division 2 schools.
Dionte Harris
Grad Year: 2021
School: Pontiac High School
Position: PG
Strengths:
– Shooter – has range beyond the arc and can pull up quick
– Pesky defender that stays on his toes
– Playmaker – gets his teammates involved and can create buckets for himself
– Moves well away from the ball
– Can play at any pace – solid at controlling the pace of the game
Areas For Improvement:
– Continue to improve shooting – consistency and in traffic
– Defense – he wants it to be a strength and wants the challenge of always checking the opponents top perimeter scorer
Biggest Moment In Basketball:
“My biggest moment is having to step up last year verse a great team name called Brother Rice by shooting 5 3 pointers. –Dionte Harris

I Want to play college ball and get my masters degree and hopefully I can play overseas.” – Dionte Harris

Harris’ recruitment is open. He’s looking for a school that believes in him and the fact that he’s underrated due to his size. Harris could make a big statement this season.
